Priyanka Chopra faints on the sets of What's Your Raashee? Mom rushes to location

A member of Gowarikar's unit says, "While shooting at a bungalow at Khar, Priyanka unexpectedly collapsed and it was so sudden that none of us moved for a while. We were all shocked and the doctors were quickly summoned." Priyanka's mother immediately rushed to the location, while Gowarikar suggested pack-up. "Even in such a situation, Priyanka insisted on completing the shooting as there were only a couple of shots left. Only after giving her shots, did she leave for the hospital to get a series of tests done," says the member of the unit. Confirms Priyanka, "Yes, it's true. I did pass out on location on Saturday due to over exhaustion and low blood pressure. But more than me, it was my mother who was alarmed." The next evening, on Sunday, defying her doctor's and parents' strict orders, Priyanka performed an energetic dance at The Femina Miss India Contest. She justifies her actions saying, "It was a commitment I'd made a long time back and I just couldn't back out of it at the last minute." Priyanka says she realises she's been overdoing it and intends to take some time off as soon as the shooting for What's Your Raashee? is complete. She sums it up saying "Jaan hai toh jahaan hai!" |
