But certainly they were not born on Ram-Navami as shown in the serial.

I don't know about the other six kids of L-B-S but Kush-Lav were born on the night of Varshik Shravan Poornima (7-66-13).

Making K-L born on Ram-navami was indeed very dramatic, isn't it??

Thanks for the info that it's from the Ananda Ramayan. I've posted what I thought of that version in your thread.

The Sagars could well have used the Adhbhut Ramayan, and it might have made more sense than this plot. Incidentally, why don't they then list which sources they use - so far, Valmiki definitely ain't one of them.

With Valmiki, one can at least rationalize, if not justify Rama's exile of Sita. But the others, particularly Ananda Ramayan, simply paint Rama as vile. What sort of a person would do all that to his wife? Plus it makes no sense when all those sub-plots are put together.
