Are you liking the way the Sagars are currently showing Uttar Ramayan

Well, we all know what the arguments are - misrepresenting Sita's vanvas, then showing Lakshman about to commit suicide, then showing the people of Ayodhya divided over this decision, then Rama's visit to Mithila, then Kush-Luv being born on Rama-Navami in absense of Shatrughan, and then all the other 3 brothers having twins, and all on the same day, and then Sita treating her newborns as though they were rugged adults.

And then there's the acting - awesome, as always.

So just curious - how many of you are liking this? (Unlike my last Chicago style poll, this one allows only 1 vote 1 time 1 choice.)

i am not liking the kiddish way in which sagar showing uttar kand

right from the RAJYA ABHISHEK day , a chain of bloopers started

they didnot even show the chanting of the mantras at rajya abishek & many more bloopers

but the biggest blooper of the century ,luv-kush born on RAM NAVMI !!!!🤢

i dont understand what are the Sagars doing nd y dey do so?😲 I have no words to describe my outrage at how they are showing uttar ramayan part of Ramayan. Many of us do not read the epic and depend on their show for increasing ouur knowledge . Why are they showing it like this?😔

upto an extent we can tolerte the changes in the story

but tolerating blunders is not done

as a true hindu i am really hurt the way sagars played with the faith of hindus by showing luv-kush born on RAM NAVMI & also vishnu-lakshmi in vishnulok together ,then who were RAM-SITA on earth ???

a sort of mockey was made out of the holy epic RAMAYAN & in this way they r hurting the faith & the religious belief of the hindus !!!!

Yep, this is the biggest problem I have with poetic licenses. True, people should always read originals to know the true story and not have some perverted view of what took place, but since a lot of people look at this as the ultimate source, it's bordering on the blasphemous to show such distortions in the story.

Moral: read the originals

Hope that they will read our posts and will try to correct their mistakes in the future.

Dont like the way they are showing our great Epic!
Sometimes it feels like as if they are showing a regular soap.

Chandra, the brothers giving birth to twins on the same day is from Ananda Ramayan's Uttarkand actually.

My choice is a NO, here.

Chandnii , Sita, chandra bhaiya, I exactly feel how you all are feeling .

Never had expected Sagars would distort with Uttar Kand so grossly😡

In the serial the naming ceremony is on the same day😕 that means all were born on same day .😕😕

But certainly they were not born on Ram-Navami as shown in the serial.

I don't know about the other six kids of L-B-S but Kush-Lav were born on the night of Varshik Shravan Poornima (7-66-13).

Making K-L born on Ram-navami was indeed very dramatic, isn't it??

Though I like the performance, I do not approve of changing the story.

Performance wise, they are doing a good job. But regarding authenticity, 🤔🤔🤔

In Jai Hanuman, the story was not distorted too much but certain events were off the orignal. For example, for the birth of Hanuman, the story went on like this - The divine flame that ensued when Lord Shiva and Mohini danced together was left in a sage's homa fire to be cared for till someone comes for it. When the right time came, Pawan Dev came to take it and leave it in Anjana Devi's womb. When I first saw it, I thought it was true but later realised that it was not so.

It happens in all the serial/movie/drama versions of Ramayan. Some story or the other is a bit off or it comes from some version that is not that popular.

I agree that it is really bad to distort the story as many depend on it as the only source of information.

I'll continue watching, though. Just to see what they show.
