Dear Forum Friends,
I want to thank all of you for appreciating whatever I am writing.
How did I start writing MRD …. my way? It was after the news of MRD closing shop. I was very disappointed with the storyline long before it actually wound up and I blame the creatives for that. I started writing this because I would have loved to see the story take this path. And the person who egged me on the most was my doll, and of course my Sprite. And so MRD …..my way happened.
I also started writing spin-offs which were accepted just as much. I don't update side by side because I got a one track mind. Hahahaha. But I know most of you long for the main story. I want you to be frank and tell me if these spin-offs irritate you as they keep you away from MRD.
I have been touched and honoured by Sammy and Pen who have made VMs along my storyline. That must have been quite a task. *Bow*. Piecing clips together to suit my story must have been a huge effort. Thank you , thank you and thank you.
I thank - Poet for her long analysis of my stories which I eagerly read.
I thank – Seema for always asking why I wrote this or that. It gives me the greatest joy to explain why the character behaved in a particular way.
I thank – Sammy for her expressions of awwwwwww and haiiiiiiiiii. It's so cute.
I thank – N2 for always reading between lines and peeping into my soul.
I thank – Namita for her comments and expressions of dreaming.
I thank – d.y. for her crisp comments. Occasionally you must write more.
I thank – Arwen for always encouraging me with fine words….. but she's absent lately.
I thank – T2 for adding so much spice to my threads.
I thank – Dilip for his encouraging comments
I thank – Mef for cataloguing the pages in MRD. Special hugs.
I thank – Bhawna for reading and commenting even if she arrives late.
I thank – Swapna for using emoticons instead of words
I thank – Mermaid for leaving her hiding place and showing herself.
I thank – Ranju for reading all my work and encouraging me to write more
I thank – Sprite for telling me all about romance, subtlety and gentleness.
I thank – my Doll without who I wouldn't be on this forum at all. I miss you, sweetie.
Sammy,
That VM on Maa was excellent. I watched it 4 times again and again just to see Pammi's expressions. You have captured everyone of them. I have loved this gentle character and the actress has done wonders with this role. She is the eternal mother. I am glad to know that so many of you think likewise.
There is so much of maternal love on her face when she wakes up her son or feeds him fondly. For her he is still a little boy. She hugs him when he is distraught. She supports him at first when she thinks K is rude to all of them, but then she starts loving K too. (I wish you had shown those moments as well on the VM). She is shown beseeching Raj to change his ways and make amends. She advises and encourages him. She is unrelenting and stern when she thinks Raj has raped K. She sides K who she thinks is the victim against her son. She shows shock and dismay when K tells her story of woe. Her face lights up when she sees and accepts Kranti. And most importantly she is happy when her children are happy and sorrowful when they are sad.
Thanks Sammy once again for the honour. By the way the song was new to me but I liked it.
Love you all sincerely and if I have missed any names please forgive me.
