Versatality

After seeing the preview, I am quite disappointed in Prince - once again popping and locking. Why doesn't he show his versatality? I believe we are looking for a versatile dancer someone who excels at all dance forms. Mayuresh was fantastic last week, but I want him to cut down on the acrobatics and do more dance. He was wonderful with Alisha last week and with Vrushali on the Rang barse song, so would definitely like to see more dancing from him.

I personally want to see Jai, Sidesh and Salman at the end of the competition- they all seem very versatile. Sidesh and Jai are good in solo and group dances. I have yet to see Salman perform a good dance alone, I would not count the last one towards showing his dancing skills. Among the girls, Alisha seems most versatile and consistently performing good. I would like to see her dance on a classical song.

I think Mayuresh is outperforming most of the dancers and he is taking good amount of risk. He has shown he can perform on almost anthing. I would love to see either Jai, Mayuresh or Siddhesh in the finals fromt he boys. and from the girls Alisha, Vrushali or Khushboo (I changed my mind from Bhavna to khushboo after the jaa re hat natkhat performance).

Prince is amazing at Hip-Hop though. I'd say he is probably the best at it in the whole show. And yes Popping/Locking is a form of hip-hop type dance.

i dont think jai is overrated just cos he's not in any drama. he's actually given weak performances, i have all the shows taped, and i keep watching and comparing growth curves... jai has started off good and gotten progressively worse.

let's see what happens this weekend.
