This thriller revolves around two families - Viren Sahi (Amitabh Bachchan) and that of Shekhar Bhatia (Akshay Kumar).

Viren, is a gangster who learns through life's lessons that no matter how much money you may have, if you don't have a family then you have nothing.

Shekhar is a man who doesn't have much in life, but during his hour of need, his family comes to his rescue.

Then there is Aryan (Aryeman), empowered by the love of his family, who finds the strength to take on the might of Viren, the gangster.

We also have Sharda, a woman who feared that her family would have to pay for her husband's sins. She now finds that it is payback time.
