It was evening, suddenly nikki's eyes opened with some noise outside in corridor. Nikki could not realise how long she slept but she was feeling very fresh and relax. The burden she was carrying day before and in the morning was suddenly dissolved with someone's gentle sprinkle of concern and thoughtfulness.
She was excited to share this piece of information with rani, she looked at the alarm clock it was six in the evening. Out side the window the sun was ready to disappear behind the horizon after promising to return next day with new hopes and new challenges and handing over the remaining job to moon and telling moon to look after the part of the earth till he comes back. Sun's orange hues were spreading its beauty over each and every particle coming in contact with it. Birds were anxious to go back to their nest where their loved ones were desperately waiting for them. It was beautiful scenario that nikki had not enjoyed since many years but suddenly she felt everything was getting beautiful around her. she felt the world around her were changing slowly but steadily, one gentle step taken by her brother for her future has changed many things within her too. She was thankful to saksh also for showing his brother this path. She blushed without her realisation. Suddenly she remembered that it was her prayer time and after that she had to share this happy news with rani and her mom too. nikki got up from her bed and went to bathroom to freshen up.
In rani's room rani was lying in her bed thinking about kunvarji. The way yudi has reacted in BR's room, the concern look on his face, the desperation and dejection because of his inability to help her. However, since morning she was feeling yudi's presence near by her. She felt it was quiet strange that even on her bed while she was resting in morning , she felt yudi's body adore around her. She felt that he was near her, the fragrance of his body that always attract her, was drifting her to dreamland. She could feel yudi's closeness. She felt though yudi came to meet her in the night as per Nikki's information than why was she feeling her fragrance very strongly near her? Was she missing him a lot that's why she was imagining things? It had been two days that she last saw him. Her heart was craving to be with him in his company and in his affectionate embrace. Her radiant face glowed with the memory of their togetherness.
Gauri who was cleaning rani's room came near to rani and asked rani : kyun kyaa huva rani yu akeli akeli muskura rahi ho'.kuchh yaad aagyaa?
Rani tried to change her facial expression realising that she was not alone in the room.
Rani: kuchh nahi bas aise hi
Bhavi: are aise hi kaise hume bhi to bataao..kise yaad kar rahi ho (she winked teasing rani and sat near her)

Rani's heart started beating very fast with the thoughts that if gauri had inclination about rani's relation with yudi then it would be possible that many other servants also start suspecting her. rani could trust gauri but other servant if they will inform to bhanu then no body could spare her. because once bhanu will come to know RS and CR will come to know about it.
Seeing rani lost in her thoughts gauri shook her: are kyaa soch mainpad gayi aur chahere kaa noor kyu ood gayaa''

Before gauri finish her sentence they heard knocks on door and Nikki enter the room.
Rani was delighted seeing Nikki there. Now at least she could share her dilemma with someone. And ask about yudi also. Her face lightens up seeing Nikki.

The moment gauri left room nikki came near rani and after pulling chair near bed she sat beside rani.
Rani observed the spark on nikki's beaming face, she understood that there was something that nikki wanted to share with rani and that was the reason that nikki sent gauri to BR's room in pretext of giving her food'..
Rani could not wait and asked desperately: kyaa baat hain nikkiji aap bahut khush lag rahe hain'.
Nikki: rani baat hi aisi hain'.aap sunegi to aap bhi khushi se oochhal padengi

Rani was overjoyed hearing this information, her heart filled with gratification towards yudi. she felt proud that yudi thought about his sisters happiness. Rani thought yudi woh paras hain jo kisi bhi chiz ko chhoo le to sonaa banaa de''she was very happy for nikki'..

Rani was puzzled but she sensed from nikki's excited voice that the person who suggested to yudi had very special place in nikki's heart, because the way she was feeling ecstatic while informing about that person rani felt it was something unusual.
Rani cast questioning glance at nikki.

Rani was confused that did she see what she thought or it was just her imagination? She was trying to search nikki's face, because the thing she was thinking was very scary, because that day also she felt that saksh's words gave very deep effect on nikki and the way they both feel comfortable in each other's company was something making rani suspicious about their feelings for each other.
The way nikki had given all credit to saksh, rani felt if she would have been in her place she would have definitely given all credit to yudi that special feeling for someone was visibly clear in nikki's words and tone.

Rani was observing nikki's face and reaction under watchful eyes.
Nikki's hand that was holding rani's hand tremble for a while and rani felt that trembling , that shiver and changed colour on nikki's face . rani observed the way nikki tried to change colour on her face, exact same way she always does while she has to hide her thoughts for yudi. only moment ago she also did same thing while gauri asked her about her thoughts and she forced herself to change her facial expression so gauri could not suspect anything and right now she noticed that nikki was forcefully trying same thing.

Rani was embarrassed hearing nikki's words. she felt hot flush and butterflies in her stomach, she remembered the way she was missing yudi and feeling his fragrance everywhere near her. she lowered her eyes and with quivering voice''.

Nikki was smiling and rani could sense that nikki was in different mood today. The nikki who always has very serious look on her face and in her behaviour today suddenly she felt like cheerful bird. Rani was happy to see joyful nikki.
Rani shook her head shyly and wide smile flicker on her pale face.

Nikki flinched in her chair she wiped her face with her duppata in that short moment she was constructing thoughts in her mind and preparing herself what to answer rani.
Nikki: rani aisa hota hain''shayad '''pyaar main'.jab aap kisi ko milne ke liye betaab ho ''to oonse milne ki chahat jiske khayaal humaare dil main hota hain ooski khushbu, ooski upsthiti aur ''.ye sab bhram karati hain hume'''.
Rani suddenly asked nikki: kyaa aap ko bhi aisaa hota hain''
Nikki was stupefied and speechless. She was startled by rani's sudden question. Tingling sensation ran down nikki's spine. She felt her throat drying and mind was suddenly blank. Nikki glanced at rani with incredulous look on her face.
But before she could answer rani's question gauri enter room with rani's food. Nikki heaved a sigh of relief, she muttered the prayer of relief and excused herself from rani's room that she has to go and talk with her mom. Gauri assured nikki that she will look after rani and nikki should not worry about her. nikki caress rani's face and took leave from her.
But that brief moment had filled rani's mind with many thoughts and confusion. She could sense those feelings in nikki but could not make the picture perfect out of those indication because nothing was concrete but only her assumptions.
Rani nikki ko jaate dekti rah gayi rani ko kyun baar baar lag raha tha ki nikki apne dil main ubhar rahe umango ko tarango ko apne chahere ki ghambhirtaa ke pichhe chhipaa ne ki koshish kar rahi thee. Lekin ooske dil ki khushi ooski ankho se chhalak rahi the'.
Seeing her lost in her thoughts gauri remind her to eat her food and take her medicine after that. Rani did not want to take medicine because that medicine had drowsiness but gauri pursued her to take her food and medicine as well because rani had to get well soon. Seeing gauri taking care of her rani remembered her mom. She remembered whenever she used to fall sick her amma used to take care of her exact same way. Today rani felt like putting her head in her mom's lap and sleep and forget entire world around her.
Gauri was startled seeing tears in rani's eyes and asked her the reason. Rani tried to hide her emotions but gauri with affection told her not to worry when she is around and she is like big sister to her she can share everything with her and she will always remain there to look after her and support her and help her.
Overwhelmed by affection and concern, rani hugged gauri because today she was missing her own family desperately. After a while rani felt contented and light hearted. She composed herself and finished her food. Gauri gave her medicine and made rani sleep and cover her body with blanket. Gauri informed rani that she will be back after finishing her other work and after that she turned off the lights and left room. In short while rani also fell sleep while thinking about everything happening around her.
It was around ten in night; in his room yudi was packing his bag though he was upset that he had to go to Delhi for two days while rani was needed him most. He was worried about rani's health but same time it was his duty to take care of his business also and fulfil his dad's dream to take their business to new heights.
He remembered his conversation with his dad on dining table. His dad informed that their germen clients have arrived to Delhi and wanted to discuss some important points regarding their on going project. However, they were supposed to come to meet yudi here in his town but because of some other important meeting they would not be able to come so they have suggested that instead yudi go there and meet them.
Yudi was upset and despondent when he heard this information but he was obliged to his duty towards his family and his work. As an elder son of family he was adhere to some family rules on expense of his own desire and wish.
Yudi tried to come up with excuse that if Mr. Febian comes here instead than he could see location and work that is already done. However, RS cut him short and told yudi that Mr. Febian and so do RS has full confidence in yudi that he will manage thing better. And they don't have enough time so yudi has to go to Delhi and meet them and further RS added that Rudra is also going with yudi so he also understand the process of this project that might help him in future.
Yudi could read the lines of unhappiness on Rudra's face but they did not go against their dad's decision.
Yudi was restless and thousands of thoughts had captured his mind. However, he was busy with packing but mentally he was planning something because he remembered about the call he got from saksh just after dinner and saksh informed him that the process of Nikki's admission had been done and now yudi has to sign few documents and everything will be done completely. And yudi knew that once Nikki's admission has been confirmed than Nikki can start her study. Yudi did not want to delay things further because he was thinking already he was late in giving happiness to Nikki. Saksh had informed yudi that he will bring those documents in the morning because from college he went to his village for some important work and he was supposed to return late in the night.
Yudi wanted to meet rani also before going away for two long days. He could not even imagine a day without seeing rani even though it is her glimpse. And on top of that after that snake incident he did not get chance to meet her properly and talk with her and spend some time with her and he was worried about her health and recovery also. He felt sudden urge to take rani in his arm. He wanted to forget world just looking in her two sparkling light brown eyes. He desired to listen to the melodious tune and rhythm of their heartbeat. He felt emptiness and loneliness surrounding him. He remembered the last night he spent with rani. He still felt her fragrance in his lungs and her soft and supple touch was still making him weak on his knees. He could not forget the touch of her dry and shivering lips. His mind was full of her thoughts. He was missing her desperately. He wanted to be with her, in her wonderful company he wanted to spend some memorable moments with her. In her affectionate solitude he wanted to lose himself in her warm embrace. Above all his concern for her was increasing his anxiety and troubling her disquiet mind more. He wanted to console himself seeing her by his own eyes that she is now out of danger. However, he was very busy during day but his mind was all the time thinking about rani's wellbeing and that was the main reason he wanted to meet her at any cost before he goes away for two days otherwise he knew that he will not able to give his work his 100%. His desire to be with rani forced him to think something fast and eventually he came up with some solution.
He looked at his wrist watch though it was late but he thought no harm in trying. Deciding that he took his mobile from table and dialled Mr. Fabian's secretary's no. he took deep breath and mumbles some prayer under his breath that somehow he would able to contact her and after few rings that secretary miss. Hopkins picks up the phone. He asked for forgiveness for disturbing her at that hour and requested her to shift his appointment to later hour of day so he could take afternoon flight to Delhi. And by his good luck miss. Hopkins manages to shift his appointment in late afternoon. Yudi felt relieved and after thanking her he put down his phone and called to his travel agent to do amendments in flight bookings and request him to inform Rudra about this change in schedule.
Most of the things had been arrange according to his wish now his another wish to see rani at least once before going to Delhi yet not fulfilled but for that he had to wait for few hours till everyone in palace go to their bed.
It was around 1 A.M. in mid night, yudi was still awake and preparing his project file and some reports for tomorrow meeting. Once he was done he decided to go to rani's room.

Yudi came out of his room and look around, he knew that everyone in palace might be sleeping by now but he did not want to take any risk. He thought rani might have gone to sleep too thinking that he stopped in his way, he thought something and came up with something else and went to his room.
After a while he was on his way to rani's room. after passing by all the corridors at last he reached to rani's room.
He paused for a while once again and looked around, he felt very weird and strange because in his own palace he was behaving like thief. He did not enjoy this behaviour but situation has not left any other option for him. in his entire life he had never been scared of anyone. At same time he knew that he was not doing some sin it was just demand of time.
He shook off his head in try to shatter all those thoughts. Gently he knocked on the door. After a while he again knocked on the door because he was under impression that Nikki was accompanying rani in her room while taking care of rani. He was unaware about current developments that CR had instructed Nikki not to bother too much for rani and instead assign that job to gauri. So in short yudi was unaware of gauri's presence in rani's room. he was about to push the door open he felt some movement behind door and in his bewilderment gauri open the door.
Yudi was stupefied seeing gauri standing on door. Words did not come out of his mouth. Not even in his dream he thought that he had to face situation like this. His heart started to beat fast and mind started to think fast because he realised he had to come up with quick excuse for his visit to rani's room. however, before he react in any way gauri respond to his confusion that was written on his face.
Gauri: pranam kunvarji.......aap rani se milne aaye hain?
Yudi was puzzled and perturbed, he was rooted to the place unable to react. Gauri understood yudi's predicament and she did not want him to feel embarrassed.
Gauri: who so rahi hain ''..lekin aap oose dekh lijiye'''.hum jug main pani khatam ho gaya hain who bhar kar aate hain'.
Gauri took jug from side table and left the confuse yudi in rani's room. yudi was though amused but thought may be rani might have shared this secret with gauri knowing she was rani's good friend. Yudi slowly enter rani's room and while going out gauri closed the door behind her and went towards kitchen.
Yudi went near rani's bed. Though room was dark and only light available was moonlight that was filtering through windows panel. Yudi saw rani was sleeping peacefully and baby like innocence was spread on her face. ardently yudi kept staring at rani who was lost in her dream world oblivious of yudi's presence.
He sat on rani's bed and softly touched her face, rani stirred in her sleep and changed her side and become still again. Yudi cover rani's body properly realising rani was shivering little bit.
He realised that her face was not looking that pale today.

Fervently and longingly, yudi looked at rani. suddenly he remembered that he had something for rani. he took out one nicely packed pink rectangle box from his pocket and kept it on side table that was near rani's bed. So in the morning her eyes can easily fall on that gift.
One last time he gently caressed her face and kissed her forehead and about to go out when gauri enter the room.
Yudi thanked her and left the room
Gauri came near to rani and saw that gift that yudi kept on table and after that she cast satisfactory glance to peacefully sleeping rani.
She just joined her hands and pray to god that no harm could come on their way of togetherness and god give them all the happiness they deserve. Her face was beaming with happiness and joy for rani.
It was early morning, sun has emerged from the far horizon and had coloured entire atmosphere with it's light orange and pink hues. Flying birds and their chirping was increasing beauty of the glorious morning. The morning has brought new promises and dreams along with it. The morning has brought wonderful day and many treasure for the people in palace. New day has some new stories to begin and like old day few old stories to finish.
Rani woken up by the sunlight that has brightened her room. she slowly opened her eyes and look around. When she saw no body around her she realised that gauri had already woken up and might have started her work in some corner of the palace. Rani was feeling guilty that because of her illness gauri had to work more. Rani thought that she had to recover fast and get back to her work. To reduce gauri's burden. She slowly sat on her bed. She was feeling quiet well from previous day. However, she was feeling still little bit weakness and tiredness in her body and still few parts of her body was aching but she felt in few days she might able to start her work and once she will be fully recover she will help in gauri's work too.
While her mind was occupied by her thoughts, in mean while her eyes fell on small pink rectangle gift box that was nicely kept on her side table. She was puzzled seeing that box there and confused that who could have kept it there. Slowly she took that box in her hand and turned it round to find out more about it. However, nothing was written there from where she could find out anything. She could not figure out from where it came but after thinking for a while she opened that gift. She was delighted when her eyes fell on beautiful black ink pen. She realised that it was yudi's pen which he always keep in his shirt pocket. Smile flickered on her face after realising that yudi had left this gift for her.
Carefully she took out that pen out of the box and by another hand gently touched it like trying to feel yudi's presence or his touch in it. This pen had very special place in yudi's heart because it was given to him by his mom when he was going for further study to abroad. That was the reason yudi always take good care of this pen and keep it in shirt pocket neat his heart. rani felt overwhelmed because today yudi has handed over her something that was too precious for him.
Ooski maa ki pyaar ki nishaane oosne aaj apne pyaar ko dedi thee.
Gently she kissed that pen and closed her eyes and held her emotions for brief moment. She knew that she had to take care of this pen like her own life all the time because it was symbol of somebody's unconditional love that had been passed from one person to another.
She knew that while concealing all deal yudi used to sign all papers with this pen. It was like that way he was taking blessing from his mom in success of all new projects. It was like finalising and confirming the deal and by giving this pen it was like yudi has done same thing with their own relation.
While keeping pen inside the box, rani's eyes fell on letter that was neatly folded and kept on other side of the box. She took out the letter and kept box aside and started to read that letter.
Rani,
Rok nahi paaye hum apne aapko. Eesi liye chale aaye aap ko dekh ne ke liye. Do din se aapse baate nahi huyi hain. Kyaa guzar rahi hain humaare dil par sirf hum jaante hain. Rani was overwhelmed after reading yudi's long but passionate letter. She was missing him desperately. Tears were rolling down her eyes but she again hold that pen and touch with her cheek. It felt that she was trying to reduce the pain of loneliness just by feeling that pen. She could see yudi's unconditional and pure love in his this small gesture.
While she was lost in her thoughts she did not realised when gauri enter her room with her breakfast.
Gauri: rani''..kunvarji ke diye huve taufe main kho gayi kyaa?
Rani lowered her eyes feeling embarrassed. Gauri wiped rani's tears.
Gauri: are ye khushi ki baat hain aur tum ro rahi ho'

Rani could not control herself and hugged very tightly to gauri.
In main hall nikki was getting restless because she wanted to go to temple to perform some special prayers and driver was late. Nikki was anxious thinking that if she will not reach temple on time than bade pujariji might not be present there who does prayer for her and she did not want any other pujari to attend this special prayer. At last gaurd inform her that driver has arrived and car was waiting for her.
When nikki enter the temple his fear came true the bade pujariji had gone somewhere to finish his work and asked some new pujari to attend her. she was despondent and worried at same time.
Npujari: pranam rajkumariji'''aayiye hum aapka hi intzaar kar rahe the''bade pujari hume kah kar gaye the ki aap aaye to hum puja kar waa de aap ko der ho gayi aur oonhe kuchh jaroor kaam ki wajah se jaanaa padaa'..laayiye puja kaa saman hume dijiye aur puja ki chithi bhi'
Nikki hand over all stuff to pujari, there were manyother devotees also there whom that new pujari had to attend. They all were also passing their stuff to pujari at that time. When pujari read the prayer note and did not see anybody's name there. He came back to nikki.
Npujari: rajkumariji''ees main likha nahi hain kis ke liye puja kar ni hain?
Nikki felt shiver pass throug her body and her hand started sweating and lost of words. she looked around and was in confusion, that was the reason she was preferring bade pujari to perform her prayer now she had to deal with this strange and unwanted situation.
Npujari again asked him when other people were calling him too: .kahiye'..kis ke naam ki puja karvani hain appko''''
Nikki was in dilemma and searching for option but that pujari was too busy and rushing did not wait and while attending other people again ask her same question.
At same time before nikki can react in any way'''
Somebody said,
"SAKSHAM" she heard sweet melodious voice coming from behind her back.
Ek ladki ki gunjati huyi awaz ne jab saksham ka naam liya to ek pal ke liye nikki ke honsh ood gaye'''aur ronghte khade rah gaye''
Kahi oosne apne dil ki to awaz nahi suni thee? Yaa sach main kisi ne ye naam liyaa tha?
She could not believe her ears, stupefied and shocked when she turned to look at that girl "ooski aankhe ascharya se khuli ki khuli rah gayi''''😲😲😲
