I hope she'll tell Shree the truth or help her in someway, but Madhu seems to think more about herself than think about Shree. She knows how helpless Shree feels and everything Shree has been through, she should help her.

I know it does give a feeling that Madhu is just thinking about herself and her marriage fr some stupid promise she made to Anant. I hope her conscience wakes up and she comes to know that Shree really needs her help.

She knows Shree needs help, she's seen the way the family treats Shree. She knows what is happening. I hope she does have a guilty conscience and does end up helping Shree or at least tell her the truth.
