I knowwww .. I'm late but kya karoon, memories ko gather karne mein kabhi kabhi time lagta hai! 😳

Well .. my association with discussion boards is very purana .. pretty much as purana as Kumkum is (actually more .. but with any Kumkum or any Husein Juhi related discussion, its been as long as the show! ) It started from the Husein Group at Yahoo .. and continued here to the forum. In both cases, my association with everyone has been mostly very pleasant .. barring a few hiccups here n there! 😕😳

I have mostly fond memories .. memories I will cherish for a lifetime! 😳 When I'm all old & grey .. the moments I've spent in the forum (& group, ofcourse .. my starting point) will always be there to fall back upon and smile about .. and in most cases, laugh about! 😆😆

I joined the forum, when most members ka madness was at its peak!! 🤪 Jo mastiiiii & shaitaani humne ki hai .. till date, when I think of those .. I can't help but literally roll laughing 🤣🤣 (our trademark style!) Anku ki blushing ☺️ .. Shabu ka lazypan 🤣 Henna-Donny ka Pyar ❤️😍 Nids ka paagalpan 🤪 Reshu ka double paagalpan 🤪🤪 and sooooo much morrrre!!! 😉😆 Ofcourse, not to forget .. when I joined, we had Mehr, Zaara, Shilpa, Anum, Ashwini .. few members who are not here anymore .. but will always be part of my memories .. coz its with them I started out here! 😊

We've all had our fair share of discussions on & about the show .. been a part of various different phases in Kumkum through our discussions and points of view. Also been a part of Husein & Juhi's personal & professional highs (I don't wanna count their lows .. if they had any). Together, we've had some healthy discussions .. and few that turned ugly 😕 But all that is part & parcel of the game, with so many different viewpoints from different people from different backgrounds, and bound together by one common interest! We've laughed & cried together .. sometimes fought with one another .. gained something and probably also lost something! But, at the end of the day, still bound by a pyara sa bandhan! 😊

Coming back to the mastiiii & paagalpan ... how can I miss out on 2 of the BIGGEST events we had here!! 😉😆😆

1st - Rachu-Gaurav Shaadi .. with Saara ka tadka!! 🤣🤣

What a Love Triangle we created 🤣🤣 I think that was the only post that crossed the 100 pages mark!! For some of our members who don't know anything about it .. here's a little flashback! We planned the Rachu-Gaurav shaadi .. with Anku & I being 'Wedding Planners' but ofcourse, couldn't resist doing some masti and pulling Rachu's leg .. so decided to bring in Rachu's 'Souten' in the form of Saara (Donny) 🤣 We told Rachu that we planning the Saara-Gaurav shaadi .. and like a typical soapy actress, she went with it .. 'sacrificied her love for Gaurav's khushi' 🤣🤣 and even helped us with arrangements for the shaadi!!!!! 🤣 Bechari Rachu ko humne bahutttt pareshaan kiya tha ... aur Saara kuch kam nahin thi .. usne hume pareshaan kiya 🤣 Can never forget her 'Kissie Gun' 🤣🤣 Rachu bechari .. apne 'hone wale pati-dev' ko kisi aur ka hote hue dekh, chup rahi .. and actively involved herself in all the arrangements .. yahan tak ki, she got Gaurav (pic!) in a sherwani & sehra!!!! 🤣🤣 Finally .. we took a U-turn .. and mandap tak Saara ko laate laate, we put Rachu in her place!!! 🤣🤣 Aur usse shaadi ki itniiii jaldi thi (unless we change our minds again ) that she took her pheras in this andaaz >> "Round round round the fire we go .. first you, then I go.." ... something on those lines 🤣 And best part was ... Gaurav knew about all this 🤣🤣🤣 Bechara .. sharm se laal-peela ho gaya hoga 🤣

2nd - Our Kumkum Forum Cricket Match!!

I think this was one of the most creative things we've done in the forum!! It was totally whacky .. and so much fun!! 🤪 2 teams .. and Nids as the Umpire!!! 😳 She'd give us the go-ahead .. and the game would start!! The format was just sooo cool .. we'd have the 'bowling team' ask the 'batting team' some questions from Kumkum .. and the batgirl (no batsman here!!😆) would have to answer correctly to get 10 runs!!! Half correct answer would mean half the runs .. only 5!! 😆😆 The only thing was .. many of us would have to be online at the same time to play! Anku & I were in one team .. aur bahuttt cheating karte the!! And eventually our team won!! Yayyyy!!! 🤣

Besides these 2 "events" .. I think the birthday's & other special occassions we celebrated have been sooo wonderful! 👏😳 Such beautiful posts dedicated to the birthday girl .. truly making each one feel so special! 😳 Dunno about the others .. but I can speak for myself! I've had my most memorable birthdays here in the forum .. Anku's fabulous posts for me, each & every word written with sooo much heart & affection 🤗 .. I've never had anyone write such lovely things for me!! 😳 Also, Tina had compiled & posted her own written poems for me 🤗 Both together, made me feel very very special!! 😳 And ofcourse, tonssss of wonderful and warm wishes from everyone .. which will always .. always be with me! 😳 Thank You all sooooooooooooooooooooo much!! 🤗🤗 Last year I wasn't around during my birthday .. but sure everyone made the most of it! 😛 Main gayi thi kisi aur ki shaadi par .. aur tum logon ne meri hi shaadi karwa di! 😕😆 Anku, Nids, Henna, Donny and few others ne milkar bahut khinchaai ki meri .. but, honestly guys .. loved every bit of it! 😆😳 Nids ne jo mujhpar essay likha tha .. omgggggggg .. I'd never read anything so creative!! Its was fabulous 👏👏 .. and till date, everytime I read it .. I have a HUGE smile on my face! 😃😃

Its here in the forum that my gloomiest days have been transformed into bright & sunny days .. its here that I've laughed like never before .. done crazzzzy & whacky things & above all this, found some amazzzzing & life-long friends! And its only here that I ended up being tagged with Sexy Sam! (Henna .. yeh kya kiya tune!!) All my friends here .. Anku, Nids, Sree, Henna, Donny, Reshu, and soooo many more .. have been like a ray of sunshine in my life .. together bringing in a lot of joy & happiness! I'll never ever forget our late night owling, all the masti, leg pulling, rolling, blushing .. and what not! We've done it all .. and truly had a blast!!! 😳😳

I had joined this forum, with no expectations .. only a common interest with everyone here! That being, Husein, Juhi, Sumit, Kumkum & Kumkum-Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan! People came & went .. we've had our share of ups & downs .. but at the end of the day, alls well that ends well. We've had some not-so-good days to some awesssssome days!! Today, looking back .. the Kumkum forum gave me so much more than I could have ever imagined! 😊 I truly feel blessed! 😳 Guess I was at the right place at the right time with the right people .. and with such luck, nothing can ever go wrong! 😊

With the show ended .. I do feel like a part of me has been laid to rest! For one, there will never be another forum like the Kumkum forum, nor a show like Kumkum I'd be sooo interested in. Some things are truly irreplacable. But yes, on my own .. the feeling of Kumkum ending had sunk in a long time before the show actually ended. I had come to terms with it, a long time ago .. and so, when it finally ended, it didn't hurt as much. After all, all good things do come to an end! With every end, there is a new beginning .. and am sure, everyone associated with Kumkum .. the stars, technicians & us fans .. will also, someday, find a new wave and will ride on it! What remains is .. MEMORIES! 😳😳

Thank You to each & every one of you .. for being a part of my life in some way or another! To those whom I may have hurt .. am really sorry I just hope you know, it was never intentional!

This is probably my longest post here .. Sorry to those who beared it for so long .. but Thanks for reading anyways! And fact is, this was just a fraction of my thoughts & feelings .. there is still so much that can never be expressed in words!
