Paris Hilton Hounding Robert Pattinson With Calls About 'Twilight' Role?

Paris Hilton has been schmoozing Robert Pattinson in a bid to land herself a cameo in the new Twilight sequel New Moon, it's claimed.

The heiress - who was spotted cozying up to Robert at the Rick Yorn and Patrick Weitzell Oscar bash last month - is said to be dying for a part in the vampire flick, following her frightful stint in the horror musical Repo: The Genetic Opera.

Paris has reportedly been hounding Rob with calls in a last minute attempt to get his approval - and ultimately win over the casting directors of the film.

A source tells Star magazine, "She has also had her manager call the casting agent to lobby for a part on her behalf.

"She is desperate for people to take her seriously as an actress and thinks she'd be perfect to play one of the vampires.

"She's even willing to play a victim - she just wants in."

urgh paris needs to just disappear. shes won't have read the books because shes too stupid to read. i bet shes heard about tanya though and want to play tanya in the movie so she can try and get close to rob. well she had no chance before and now with her hounding rob she will definately not be in the movie
