March 12 (Thurs):
Loga's son tells him about how Suria helped Chandra by blackmailing the judge and now the court has ruled in her favor. Suria comes in and confirms that he help Chandra because he needed money. Loga asks why not ask him, and Suria says hecannot take money from Loga without doing work. Loga asks if he will kill him if someone pays him. Suria says yes but if Loga gives him more he will let him go and leaves.
Selva and his uncle Kannan meet and talk. Kannan says Selva is like a dog for Chandra. He says Selva gets everything without doing any work. Kannan says he is also the same and theonly difference is that he does not live under the same roof. Kannan tells Selva to marry Aishwarya and settledown in life. Selva says both he and Aishwarya are not interested. Kannan says he must marry Aishwarya because it will give both of them life security. Kannan tells Selva to threaten Chandra that he will commit suicide. He tells Selva that when Chandra does not need them she will not hesitate to finish them off and wants Selva to try his best to convince Chandra. If it works good for them, if it doesn't they just have to live as they are doing now.
Ranjini takes Gopi and introduces him to a bank and introduces him and and say he is wanting to start a garments business. Gopi also tells the banker about a company that has agreed to work with him. Ranjini asks for loan of $10 Lakhs and seekd the officers help. The officer says this is a big amount and wants collateral that would of equal value. Ranjini asks if she can sign as security but the officer tells that is not possible but suggests that they bring the contract from the company in Mumbai and the lease agreement of their showroom and he will try using that to talk to his superiors. Ranjini thanks the officer and leaves. Gopi is in his room thinking. His brother and SIL asks him what happened. Gopi tells him he is disappointed with whatever is happening. He tells his brother that he has lost hope when the officer told them about the conditions. Gopi says he doesn't know what to do. Brother tells Gopi that the Manager has not totally declined but says will help with lesser amount. Brother tells Gopi he will mortgage the house and give him the money. Both Gopi and his SIL disagree but brother says once Gopi has established they will be able to buy 3 houses like the one they have. Gopi says he heard of a financier name, Loganathan and wants to ask him for loan. Gopi tells his brother to find out more details before doing anything. Brother tells Gopi to be happy as everything will work out.
Selva goes to Chandra and tells her he has something important to discuss with her. Chandra asks what it is. Selva asks what Chandra has done for him so far. He accuses her of not giving him the respect she shows Ranjini who works for her. Chandra tells Selva not to compare himself with Ranjini and Ranjini is very intelligent and smart but he is nothing. Selva asks for Aishwarya's hand in marriage. Chandra tells him she had already given her answer to their mother. Chandra says she has worked hard to be where she is and does not want anyone to destroy everything she has worked hard for. Selva then tells her he will commit suicide and Chandra asks how and tells him there are sleeping pills in her room and he can take that and die and leaves. Selva tells her he gives her until the next day to decide but Chandra just leaves. Ranjini listens to all this from outside. THODARUM.
