Confusions about Bandini

hi everyone,

I have few doubts about this show that i want to clear up with you guys..

first of all, according the story line, is this story taking place now days or in 1980s?? I really wonder...

If it's now.. I don't think the relationship such as Mallik and villagers still exist in India.. i dunno... correct me if I'm wrong ('ve never been in India)

The way they address their relations, is not same as today.

Plus, the story is not so realistic at the moment.

If it was in back 1980's... I don't think the usage of cellphones were so easliy available that time. Plus, it's so obvious that the small & slim cellphones were not available that time.

Also, I know Mercedes Benz exist for loong time, but the model that they use in show, was not available that time.

I think the creatives should consider these small mistakes so the show will be soo 100% perfect on air.

The story is so interesting so I really want to understand the whole concept!!

Don't get in wrong way.. correct me if I am not right in anyway!!!!

This is set in the current time to the best of my knowledge, and there are some areas in india that still have such a caste system and regulations.

Juleka di is right.. there are many villages even now that such traditions occur.. and yes, it is set in current times..
