^ duplicates means that in those scenes the real actors were not shooting.....instead people who look like them from the back are used to fill their absence.....only close ups are taken on the actual actors to make it seem like they were actually there to shoot for those scenes.....like for example, in this episode juhi did not shoot with any of the real actors....in the phera scene another girl actually was shown and only juhis close ups were taken to make it seem like she was there......hope that clears your confusion.......naina
