I was always terrible with Math but brilliant in Chemistry. I've never understood the dynamics between myself and the subject but it was just there. I could understand the most combustible equation but somehow could never figure out the simplest x + y problem in Algebra. It is probably because of this that I am able to recognise "the zazazoo" factor between two people, otherwise commonly known as Chemistry.
Life is a charade and we love to be a part of it. The last few weeks have seen me being an integral part of various parties and came away all to smell the Chemistry a mile away.
At Karan Johar's recent party, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were magical. It was just that one look, on the gentle graze. The way she smiled up at him and the way his eyes followed herâfor them there were others but mainly just the two of them. There was nothing obvious. They didn't need to paw each other; there was nothing cheesy about the vibe. It was discreet and genuine. Far more real than the other couples who grope at each other to prove how happy they are. There, I realized, was genuine envious chemistry. They had more than the X factor.
