Definitely; we'd love to hear what you've got to say.😛
A side question: How many of you read Palace of Illusions? I didn't like it at all.🤢 I felt it degraded the character of Draupadi, but what did you all think?

I have a lot to say, I'm in forums for ages. Unfortunately I have learned some lessons and somehow don't really like to talk about this kind of fiction in public forums. People's reactions can be unpredictable. I'm new here, so I cannot post links (wise precautions). But just to start a conversation (attn. teaser!) I can tell you best fic I've ever read was "Book of Arjuna" (Mahabharata story from the point of view of Arjuna), and I really like this new animation (you can Google it) "Sita sings blues". I found it rather educational. (And I like the ending). I'll stop here 😊

Lalitha, have you seen the movie Clueless? It is a modern remake of the 1815ish Jane Austen novel Emma. It was wonderfully remade in the modern form. They followed the book very closely but within the modern time frame and lifestyle. I wish the Sagars would do the same. Follow the Mahabharat very closely but modernize it.

I haven't seen Clueless, but I think I will now.😊 I'm a big fan of Jane Austen!😛

I never read the book, but I think I will.
I did not like "Sita sings the blues". The rakshasas were funny in it, but I did not like how they characterized and drew Sita.
