yeah we're all still pretty shocked and upset about kumkum ending.

Perhaps it is better that they do not remember everything. Think about it. Sumit and Kumkum were a middle-aged couple (and had even seen one grand child during their life time) when they died. Now they are young 20-somethings. To suddenly gain about 50+ years of memory now would do serious damage to their psyche. They would be sort of having the POV of an old couple while still young. It'd be weird. 😳

In most other reincarnation stories, regaining the memories is important because they need to complete some vital task and they usually die young the first time. In Sumit-Kumkum's case it's not really necessary. Perhaps when they grow old (again) they'll start remembering their past lives which would be an interesting way to spend retirement. 😆
