Dushyant sends his security man to see whats happeneing around Shakuntala and her friends pick her up.
They reach the palace and Dushyant talks to his dad. His mother wants takes Dushyant and Dushyant tells her that being King won't mean he is a prisoner. His dad replies and his mother takes him to eat Gajjar Ka Halwa.
Rishi waits for Shakuntala at the Ashram's doors and someone shouts that she has arrived. She holds her injured arm which is bandaged and Rishi runs to meet her. He asks what has happened to her and he tells Karan off. Karan tells him that Shakuntala saved the child and the Rishi says that he won't forgive himself if anything happens to Rishi. Shakuntala tells him that whilst Rishi's hands on her head, nothing bad can happen so Rishi puts his hand on her head.
Karan then tells them to go inside because he is hungry.
The palace gets ready for Dushyant's Raj Tillak and his mother picks out something for him to wear. Dushyant says he will wear what he wants but his mother says this is best for you. She picks out a mala and tells him he needs to look the best for his Raj Tillak. Dushyant tells his mother he can get ready himself and his mother feels bad and tells him he has grown up and doesn't need his mother and can make his own decisions. His mother tells him that she is needed in the palace even though he doesn't need her. His mother gets more angry and tells him she should leave for Sanyas. Dushyant tells him that he needs his mother, even though he will be a King, he still wants his mother and will never be bigger than her.
His mother continues to look for stuff for him and he returns wearing what his mother chose and tells him to get him ready. She gets her son ready. She is proud of him and hopes he doesn't get any Buri Nazar.
2 other characters enter and are welcomed with flowers and aarti. She stops a servant from putting a tilak on her. She tells the maid to get lost. He tells her that King Puru and his dad have a good relationship and thats why they have been called and that they need to "jama sikka" on everyone. She tells him that his aim is to control and get Gauri and her aim is to get Dushyant. The proceed forwards where Gauri greets them and takes them to their room. She calls him "Bhaiya" which they find weird.
Shakuntala does Tulsi Puja and Karan stops to watch her. Shakuntala finishes her puja and goes to Karan and gives him Prasad, whilst he stares at her until she shouts at him, laughs and walks off.
Everyone is getting ready for the Raj Tillak and Gauri tells a maid that there shouldn't be anything less with taking care of the guests and tells another maid how to decorate the stairs. She calls Senapati Veer and asks him to help her decorate and reminds him it is his job to help her. She asks him what flowers look nice and he chooses and she doesn't like it and so he chooses again and she doesn't like it telling him his pasand isn't good. She then tells him to help her with the Rangoli, when Veer has never made one before. She tells him to start and he continues to make one on top of another one.
He drops one of the powder pots and then rubs his hand on his head and rubs colour there too. They keep looking at each other, whilst he spoils the Rangoli. Gauri tells him that he can only follow people and not do anything else jokingly.
Rishi sits looking at a Kundali? Shakuntala enters and gives him prasad and tells him what she did in the mela. She trips and Rishi stops her from falling and tells him your there to "sambhal" her. She sets off to meet Rishi Shatanand. Rishi worries about her future according to her Kundali.
