ok getting back to the topic of comparing Ash and Freida.....i would wanna see more of freidas acting before actually declaring her a better actress than Ash....you dont really have to complete 10 years to be declared a better actresses....

as far as fashion goes....Freida topped the list...she delivered and everyone appreciated!...she was acknowledged and people looked forward to see what she would be wearing....

Ash has dressed well AT TIMES on the carpet, but nothing to get recognition/applauded for...and hollywood is a sucker for Well Dressed Chance taking women!

They are being compared because up until know Ash was the only indian celebrity to be a regular on Western red carpets. She was India's most known celebrity/movie star face. That's changing a bit now with the massive success of Slumdog and no matter what you feel about her acting, Freida is in the spotlight now. She has a great sense of style and fashion and she's carried herself with poise and grace and behaved very well while promoting the movie. Hollywood LOVES her.

So comparisons are inevitable. In a way it's complimentary towards Ash. But every spell must run its course and there's a new flavour in town with Freida. Simple.

Have you see Frieda's photoshoots ? She is a model and has no inhibitions.
She has revealed a lot more than "Cleavage" and if you want to compare them both , for a moment consider Ash doing such a photoshoot - I am sure everyone would rip her apart , we wold probably have dharnas in India and people would burn her effigy😆😆.Also their body structure is different Ash is more voluptuous than Frieda so the dresses fit her differently .Frieda has a great figure - especially suited for western wear.
- just wait for the woody Allen film I am sure you can see much more than her cleavage. I dont know what the big deal is about showing cleavage anyway.
Except for the Oscars Frieda made the best dressed list for all the events - she looked lovely. She is a fashionista and Ash isnt - so ? this point made her achieve more than Ash has ?
I dont understand the need to diss Aishwarya just to make Frieda or any other actress really look good.

"But won't say anything bad about Aishwarya?" Are you kidding me .. Aishwarya Rai gets ALL the flak in bollywood. I dunno bout the other award shows but a lot of people hated the outfit she wore to the Oscars .. About a good 5 entertainment shows dissed it and then I read it online. And you act as if Aishwarya wears awful clothes at all time. Aishwarya looked perfectly fine at the Pink Panther premiere she wasn't showing crazy cleavage.

And as you said LUCK of Slumdog by DANNY BOYLE got her this far. We'll see how she does in her next film before judging her acting talent.

this whole cleavage issue is really rediculous....theyre actresses, this is their profession.......dont expect them to look like savi savirtris, unless its a movie role lol....

A few did not like her outfitl because it was missing a sleeve or something, but majority liked it and said John Gallio the designer did a good job because many people that saw the dress from the waist up though she was wearing a SARI draped on her left shoulder(because off that sleeve)

Maybe you did not see the pink dress that Ash wore, in the freezing cold.

And as you said LUCK of Slumdog by DANNY BOYLE got her this far. We'll see how she does in her next film before judging her acting talent.

Yeah,, we'll just wait and see how she acts in woody allens next film, atleast she acts and carries her self natural not wooden or fake.

^ Seriously, Freida is no virtuous angel either. She bared it all for the Maxim photoshoot. Way worse than Aishwarya so-called "cleavage" show. So the point you are trying to make about Freida having greater morals than Aishwarya is null and void.

Freida acts? LOL. A ten minute role, where she barely made half the impact the child actors did shows what a great actress Freida is, doesn't it? /end sarcasm. As for the argument "wooden" and "fake", I find people often revert to those because they got not other substantial arguments. PS. If it comes to "wooden" and "fake" arguments, there are lot of blogs on the internet that call Freida 'wooden', non-actress and so on. Subjective thinking isn't factual.
