A Juhu birdie feels that Abhishek Bachchan should stop acting in films made by his childhood buddies and family friends ASAP.

Whenever Ash's hubby features in their films, they either crash at the B-O or get a lukewarm response. The most recent being Bachchan pal Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Delhi-6.

Remember Goldie Behl's Drona (that became a rona) and J P Dutta's Umrao Jaan which AB baby himself would prefer to forget.

Abhishek has fetched compliments for his role in Tarun Mansukhani's Dostana and earlier in Mani Ratnam's Guru and Sanjay Gadhvi's Dhooms. Classic case of: Gairoon ke koi shikva nahin, humko apnon ne maara.

hmmm.... what profound logic...Mid day journo must have spent years figuring this one out!😉

As for appreciation Abhishek got for Dostana, there is a Comedy show on Sony and two kids enacted Rani and Abhishek's Banti & Babli and were pulling each other's legs.

Anil Ambani's big Pictures had signed a 100 cr deal with the Bachchan family for producing a few films...it fizzled out ...maybe due to economic situation or maybe because Anil Ambani saw Drona....😆

Abhishek should avoid movies forever,

he's a great actor, provided he gets a good director.. Delhi 6 had too much of him, but the point somewhere was lost.. it became too dragging after a while.. even though, the film had good message, it failed to hold the audience.. Sonam was really wated, imo.. that was disappointing.. could've handled it better, that's for sure..
