Condoning Sri Lankan Cricket Players Attacks

Six Sri Lankan cricket players have been injured in a terror attack in area around Liberty Market near Gaddafi stadium in Lahore, Pakistan. Among those who have been injured are Ajantha Mendis, Tharanga Paranavitana, Thilan Samaraweera, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene and Chaminda Vaas.

The injured players are back in their hotel. Earlier, they were taken to hospital in the city.

According to the team manager, the shooting took place when the team was heading for the third day's play in the second Test against Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka's tour of Pakistan has been cancelled and the team has been called back.

Five policemen in Pakistan have been killed in the attack. The entire area around Liberty market has been cordoned off.

That we hope they cricketers are fine..and our condolensces with the policemens' family.

i don't think we can condone the attacks - they need to be condemned.

The BLACK DAY of the cricket world. I am surprised by the ppl who carry out such things................. and ppl who surport them............. Now beside inocent Ppl.....as players are not spared.

I don't understand what people get out of killing innocent people and causing havoc and terror in the minds of others.
my condolences to the families of the ones who have lost their lives and wishes for a speedy recovery for the Sri lankan players.
Terrorist activites should be condemned. Its high time the world took a serious stand against such a henious crime.

jeez..this is just so terrible...dunno what these terrorists are upto...my deepest condolences to the bereaved families and wishing speedy recovery to the injured SL players....just unbelievable....

my deepest condolence to the family members of the innocent people killed............and hope the srilankan cricket team a speedy recovery...............
what exactly is the world coming to.......so much hatred ,venegance at innocent people and now the ambassadors of sports are the victims

i dont understand what tthey get from killing people.i hope they know that they have to answer these questions by allah

i hope they get better soon.my prayers are with them/
