That is true Sukhi, he could easily get another phone but what I am trying to say to you is that yes jagmohan created the situation where he had no way out of it but what he did to santo afterwards, that was not nice. He should have atleast give her a nice place to stay even if he could not even look at her or explain the situation to poor Santo. He is using her for her good stars and what is she getting in return at 50 year old man with five kids.

Well , maybe that was his train of thought as well .. to act like the marriage has not made a difference either to his life or hers ... like he continued living in the riches - maybe he thought - let Santo live like she has always lived .. like a poor girl!

no, i don't think he meant it like that ke let her live like poor.. i think he never even thought about all this and just continued with his life as before.. she was in the house but he didn't want to think or care about it is more like it.. it's more to do with him avoidiing the situation..

Agree Sanam. He had mentioned it to Bapuji and baa in separate incidents that nothing has changed with her coming into his life and nothing will, even after the kids return.

A basic case of out of sight ,out of mind. Nothing else.

Yes ..

But that's just another way of ensuring that the marriage does not affect him at all - what I am saying ..

He is STILL prejudiced against the lower caste .. but now that he has actually married someone from it, he is changing his thoughts rapidly ..

well, he might have that prejudice but he is not constantly putting down people from lower caste.. what i mean is that his behaviour doesn't reflect that thought..

he even has lunch with the workers.. however, one can't deny that he is a very proud character but he is not the type to step on other's toes.. he knows what he wants.. he gets it done, fair and square.. he is not the type that will manipulate situations, etc...

Well not exactly manipulate, but he does change himself according to the situation, when he was offended, Madhav solanki meant nothing to him but when he needed him - he took pains to make everything in Madhav's life RIGHT!
