Yash Chopra honored!

The 2nd Dubai International Film Festival was very unique in a way that the organizers honored three distinct personalities related to the film industry. Director Yash Chopra represented India at the festival and was awarded a trophy as the Gentle Giant of Indian Cinema. The trophy was presented to him by Festival Director Neil Stephenson. Chopra was awarded with An Egyptian superstar and an Oscar winning actor among the "In the spotlight' section of the festival for their prominent service in the industry. Among the films screened of the honorees, Lamhe and Veer- Zaara was screened to show the contribution of YAsh Chopra in the industry. The tag line of the festival 'Bridging Cultures.Meeting Minds' suited the festival the best!
