Kareena beats all to become B-town’s tantrum queen

Mumbai, Feb 25: Throwing aside her size-zero crown, the Queen Bee of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor has become the worthy contender for 'tantrum diva' tag owing to her latest 'in your face' display of fits at the sets of her upcoming flick 'Main Aur Mrs Khanna'. The long-legged beauty, who is infamous for high flying attitude and starry 'nakhras', lived up to her image as she made outrageous demands in the middle of nowhere.

Shooting at Krabi Islands in Thailand, Kareena gave proof of her superstardom as she threw fits over her costumes for the film. Apparently, some of the costumes made for the lass were a bit loose for her liking. Unwilling to cooperate Kareena refused to don the gowns unless alerted.

And buzz has it that the producer of the flick Sohail Khan had no other option but to fly down fashion designers from Bangkok to alter Bebo's costume. The producers reportedly paid up a sum of Rs 2 lakh to get a fashion designer from Bangkok for Kareena.

A news daily even quoted a source as saying, "The to-and-fro flight tickets for the designer from Bangkok to Krabi cost Rs 1 lakh. The fashion designer who was called to alter the gowns charged Rs 1 lakh for his services."

Talking about the incident that led to Bebo's starry act, the source said, "Kareena was shooting with Salman Khan. She had to wade through water in a few shots while wearing one of the gowns. When she wore it, she felt that it was too long and loose. Kareena was extremely uncomfortable in the gowns and she told the producer to do something about it".
