Award shows

Now there was a big debate on this due to new year and work etc not made this topic for a while so..

1. Do you think that awards should be more formal..or do you like them to be entertaining.

2. What do you think can be done to make them more crediable

3.Do you think whole debate on actors not attending awards and giving away awards (Not targetting anyone theres quite a few that do not attend- Aamir, Ajay etc)

4. Why do you watch awards..and whats your favourite hosts.

no offence to anybody first of all...plz

i think most of the awards are justified except filmfare, we have seen so many cases but the biggest one are the filmfare awards, they have done injustice to actors so many times,

i dont understand on what basis they give awards .. the performance or the box-office, if the box-office really that matters why did they give anil kapoor the award for beta whereas aamir deserved it more for jo jeeta wohi sikander and the film was a bigger hit than beta too...

if its on performance basis why they did give away preity zinta best actress in 2003 for kal ho na ho and gave urmila only critics award for bhoot, the whole world knows urmila was deadly loved and won all the awards tht year, sreen, zee, apsara, viewers choice, this shows they have double standards, i like preity but her role wasnt so great that it could win an award, especialy when compared to urmila's one in bhoot.

1. Do you think that awards should be more formal..or do you like them to be entertaining.
They should be entairtaining but not at the cost of others' self respect. All jokes should be in the right spirit and at the right time. It's not a get together..it is still a formal event. For example,when someone is on the stage , receiving award..giving speech..they should not be intrrupted by the host. Or hosts should not among the celebs, and criticize them on their attire. All these things are inappropriate.
2. What do you think can be done to make them more crediable
They should just know where and when to stop. Plus, it would also help to give the awards to the deserving candidates..!! It should not all be about BO collections.
3.Do you think whole debate on actors not attending awards and giving away awards (Not targetting anyone theres quite a few that do not attend- Aamir, Ajay etc)

It's their choice..if they don't want to attend then it's their problem. I also think it is appropriate to leave them out of nominees' lists since they don't care about it !

4. Why do you watch awards..and whats your favourite hosts.

I barely watch them. Before last year, my fav hosts have been Saif-SRK. They used to have witty and funny jokes. But last year, they also crossed the limit by taking their personal frustration and issues on stage.

I think it needs to be 50-50.

2. What do you think can be done to make them more crediable.
Giving out awards to those who really truly deserve it and not to those who just earn the most money at the BO.
I can't rmr what award show this was but I do rmr that one show last year handed out awards to only those who showed up .. and like honestly thats ridiculous.

Um just cause they dont attend award functions doesn't mean they're work shouldnt be credited.

4. Why do you watch awards..and whats your favourite hosts.

I mostly watch them for the performances and then to see who wins and how fair they are .. dont really have any fav hosts.

Awards should be entertaining but also should not be disrespect. And please no argument on stage😆

Every actor should come to attend awards, when stars says they're busy i find it a very bad excuse.

I still don't understand why ajay or aamir doesn't come to attend awards? So what if you don't win awards, atleast be part of it. They shouldn't get any nominees since they never had respected the awards.

I watch for good Stage performance and my favorite host are Srk-Saif, they have been the best!!

I don't think we have any right to question jury members or organizers of Bollywood awards shows. Blatant favoritism is everywhere at every level.

They should be intertaining as well so ppl dont get bored

2. What do you think can be done to make them more crediable
I dunno. Maybe they should think of new things instead of the same old things yr after yr. Actors coming on ag stage doing a dance or 2 or cracking jokes. And some hosts should no wen there limitations are. As things can get a bit personnal

Aamir - says that he doesnt make movies for awards, that is y he doesnt want awards coz he makes his movies for his fans. Yet again he complains. dnt c wat his problem is, it is his choice.
Ajay - Yet again it is his choice if he wants to attend them or not and get a award.
4. Why do you watch awards..and whats your favourite hosts.
I watch awards to see if my fave actor wins the best actor award.

I might agree on that person doesn't deserve this award, but it doesn't mean that other's are wrong, others might liked something which I don't like, it has nothing to do with favoritism, but in case of this list, I don't agree on some of it, but it doesn't mean that my decision is the final decision...............

they need to be fair when handing out the awards, not just go by the box office collections...

that's their own choice.. if they are busy, doesn't matter.. Amir i find strange after reading that he doesn't attend because Anil got it for Beta and he didn't.. i think Anil was quite brilliant in that movie and he did deserve it.. of course, the matter will vary from jury to jury but just because Amir is nominated doesn't automatically mean he will get it only and nobody else.. 😕 Ajay is his own choice again.. he thinks he doesn't want to waste his time if he is not getting anything, that is his choice.. he has apparently better things to do, so good for him.. i don't have any problems with stars not attending.. they are allowed to make their own choices.. doesn't mean we should poke fun at them...

for good fun.. i love SRK, Saif and Sajid... even though, sometimes they have twisted humour and people find it in bad taste, i don't take it too seriously...
