Kratika's illness prompts her to rest
Kratika Sengar, who recently entered 'Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil' (Star Plus) as Prem's best friend Simran, suffers from slipped disc and has been advised to take some rest.
Kratika Sengar, who recently entered 'Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil' (Star Plus) as Prem's best friend Simran, suffers from slipped disc and has been advised to take some rest.
"I was in an accident four years ago, when I was in the 12th standard. The pain returns at times, even when I don't exert myself too much," says Kratika.
The actress has been out of action for more than a month now and says, "I went back to my hometown for a few days. My doctor has advised me to take rest but work is also important."
Kratika is attending physiotherapy sessions, for two hours every day. She tells us, "I've got to exercise for an hour in the morning and then again in the evening."
She has been advised against wearing shoes with high heals and lifting heavy objects. "I've been told not to lift anything and am not wearing high heal ke chappals. Actually, I can wear them but can't run in them," informs the actress.
Talk about the show, the actress says her track in the show has been brought to a halt. "When this problem began in January, I had a word with Balaji and hence, for the time being, my track has been brought to a halt. But now I am much better and want to get back to work. I am just waiting for my doctor to give me the green signal but I don't know when that will happen," she signs off.
