New Delhi, Feb 23 (IANS) The following is the list of Indians who have won an Oscar over the years:

1. Bhanu Athaiya - Best Costume Design for Richard Attenborough's "Gandhi" in 1982

2. Satyajit Ray - Honorary Oscar for Lifetime Achievement in 1992

3. A.R. Rahman - Two Oscars for Best Original Score and Best Original Song "Jai ho" for "Slumdog Millionaire" in 2009

4. Gulzar - Best Original Song "Jai ho" for "Slumdog Millionaire" in 2009 with Rahman

5. Resul Pookutty - Best Sound Mixing for "Slumdog Millionaire" in 2009
