Delhi 6 Has A Decent Weekend

Monday 23rd February 2009 09.30 IST

Boxofficeindia.Com Trade Network

Delhi 6 had a decent first weekend with nett business of around 18 crore. There is a holiday on Monday in many parts of the country which should aid the film in those parts so the film could put up first week collections of anywhere between 26-30 crore nett for the first week.

There were badly informed sources in the trade who believed collections would fall on Saturday but they were completely off the mark as Saturday business was on par or more than Friday at most centres while Sunday saw a 35-50% improvement at most centres. Tuesday will probably determine what sort of business the film may do as like Chandni Chowk To China earlier this year the collections so far are better than the reports.
