starplus needs to be taught a lesson

(this is in no offense to anyone)

guys we should take a stand and WARN star plus,who are showing a lot of attitude ,they are taking loads of show off air whenever they want.all that matters to the is trp,they are hurting alot off fans,we should warn them that we will stop watching starplus

I am tired of this attitude by star, too. But, I think that it's the fault of both the creatives and the channel. I do think that Star is not promoting Ekta serials at all, and is giving them a step-motherly treatment. It has started paying attention to Bidaai and YRKKH a lot.

Kis Desh mein Hai Meraa Dil didn't get n e warnings so far...Its in the top 5 shows of Star Plus and No 1 show of Balaji Telefilms... Besides that the shows like Karam Apna Apna, Sangam and rest you talk about are neither giving trps nor n e profits to both, the channel as well as the producer..

Star plus does not promote KDMHMD at all, when the whole drama of marriage was going on there were absolutely no promos of KDMHMD shown, one promo was shown when the drama was more than half over that too with extremly low frequency. They only promote bidai and yeh rishta and pay no attention to KDMHMD thats why i have stopped watching star plus i only watch it when kdmhmd is on! And in future too i won't watch their serials. Even if they have a rivalry with Ekta it does not mean they take revenge from us the viewers by ignoring our favorite show! Premeer are the best couple star has, no other serial of their's has a more sizzling onscreen couple and how are they treating that couple's serial?

I agree with u but u guys need to see the other side of the prospective... Serials are there to generate profit to its owners, if it isnt showing profits then they close it, just like restruarants if it isnt wrking well n u only hav a few customers then the owner will shut it dwn neva mind how disappointed those few customers are... u cnt think emotionally u hav to think practically... n ur forgetting its their money at risk as well, they pay alot of money to Sky to get the channel and if the serial isnt showing enough profit to go further they may as well shut it down or esle they'll lose the channel... n abt the matter of ekta her serials r failing to provide high TRPs like before... she isn't much profit n she has LOADS of workers to pay from on screen to off screen... she cnt afford to keep a serial thts not running well on screen or she'll b on the street... its all Business!

I don't think anything is wrong with that. This is their channel, they will whatever they want to do. And what do you mean by being selfish. If they weren't selfish, there wouldn't be a company/channel called Star in the first place. And what they are doing is correct, they need to pressure the production houses to step up their game and perform - without that production houses just delivers crap. And btw didn't Kyunki, Kasauti go of air because most of the viewers were getting fed off. I say as long the channel acts, this way all the shows will be afraid and give their best - and do you know you will be the benefactors? Us, the viewers - we'll get to watch better quality shows.
