FF: Kitni Mohabbat Hai pt 12/pg 36 9/05

Hello KMH-ians! This ff starts with yesterday's episode after Arohi leaves from Arjun's office, leaving him smiling (very adorably too😆😆😆!) Don't have a name for it yet... Do give suggestions on any suitable name! Hope you guys enjoy it!

Characters are as same as in the show😊

Arjun smiled from his heart for the first time in many many years and it was because of Arohi. He had known her for just a few days and somehow she made him smile today. Still smiling, suddenly flashes from his past came in his head which made him forget all about smiling. How his mother had left him, leaving him so devastated and hating her and all women. He remembered how he had told everything about his life to Arohi, somehow he was relieved that he had shared this part of his life with someone.

Once again, Arohi's smiling image flashed in his head and again a smile formed on his lips. Shaking his head he turned and started moving towards his desk when he stopped all of a sudden.

There was his friend Salil, his mouth wide open, forming a distinctive 'O'. He felt like laughing looking at his friend who looked insane right this moment.

"Yeh.... main kya dekh raha hoon... I must be dreaming yaar..." shaking his head, Salil attempted at pinching himself and he winced when it hurt.

"Ouch!! Arjun!! Arre mere dost, mere yaar! Tu muskura raha hain? Wow, chal jaldi se bata kaun hain wo insaan jisne yeh jadoo dikhaya! Bol bol?? Kaun hain woh ha?" Salil said as he stopped in front of Arjun.

Arjun thought of Arohi the moment Salil mentioned who was it who made him smile. He couldn't help but smile slightly but stopped himself before he smiled like an idiot.

Arjun said, averting the topic: Kuch nahin... tu bol tum yaha?

Salil: Arre haan... yaad hain mere parents mere rishte ki baad lekar gaye the... you wanted to know about the girl right? Arre woh Hari Prasadji ki beti, Arohi ki...Maine to recommend kiya tha!

Arjun, shocked at the mention of Arohi being the girl: Kya?? Arohi??

Salil: Haan, uski hi to...

Just then his phone rang and he stopped to answer it.

Arjun thinking: Salil aur Arohi? Salil Arohi ko pasand karta hain??? Yeh kab hua?

Salil finishing his call: I just hope ki woh haan kehde. Pata hain.... pehli nazar main pyaar ho gaya mujhe usse. Chal chalta hoon, thoda kaam mein bhi to karlu. Ghar peh milte hain.Smiling at Arjun, he left the cabin leaving Arjun with a hundred questions running through his head.

Arjun thinking aloud: Yeh kaise hua... Salil Arohi se kab mila tha... It must be some other girl... Haan Arohi nahin ho sakti....

Just then, Arohi entered the room and heard him mentioning her name.

Arohi: Sir, main kya nahin ho sakti?

Arjun, startled at hearing her voice: Kya?? Nahin kuch nahin. Tum yahan kya kar rahi thi? Aur kya sunna tune?

Arohi surprised at her boss acting weirdly: Nothing sir, main to bus yeh kehne aayi thi ki aapse kuch clients milne aye hain.

Arjun in his normal mode: Haan, I'm coming. Tum jao.

Arohi just nodded and smiled at him and left the room.

Arjun heaved a sigh of relief when she left. He didn't understand why he was thinking this way. He just didn't like the fact that it might be Arohi that Salil loved.

Sitting in his office, he looked at the clock, it was already 1pm. He had just returned from his meeting with some clients and was looking for Arohi. But she was nowhere to be seen. "Pata nahin kahan chali gayi"

Just then, he saw Salil stopping Arohi to ask something. Walking closer he heard Salil saying, "Mujhe meri hone wali patni ki bare main sab kuch janna hain."To his utter shock he heard Arohi replying, " Haan haan, don't worry main apko sab kuch bata dongi"

Arjun was too stunned to notice that one of his employees was talking to him. "Arohi hi wahi ladki hain.."

"Sir! Arjun Sir!" His employees spoke loudly.

Arjun brought out of his reverie: Huh?? Haan kaho?

"Yeh kuch papers hain, aapke signatures ki zaroorat hain"said the employee.

Taking the file from his hands, he signed without even looking where he was signing and ended up signing on the brochure. As he finished, he overheard Salil asking Arohi to meet him in the library at 2 and they will chat over coffee. Giving back the file he turned to leave when his employee stopped him. "Sir aapne brochure par sign kiya hain, papers par aapke signatures chahiye."

Embarassed, Arjun covered up by saying, "To phir brochure saath main kyun rakte ho?" Signing on the papers, he gave them back and heard the guy say "Sorry Sir".

Arjun thought about what he had just heard. "So coffee huh? Mera office aab lover's point ban gaya hain? Dekhte hain kya hota 2 baje." Smirking to himself, he left for his cabin.

Part 2

Arjun settled himself into his office chair and immediately buzzed for Arohi to come into his cabin. Looking at the clock, it was 1.30pm already. Only half an hour more till 2pm. "Kya karoon main'"

A knock on his cabin door brought him back from his thoughts. Clearing his throat and getting into his normal mode, he answered, "Come in"

Arohi entered his cabin holding a file and came and stood in front of his desk. "Ji Sir, aapne bulaya?"

He couldn't help but stare at her for a while, he was feeling all strange inside and he couldn't explain it at all! Composing himself, he said, "Ms Arohi Sharma, any problems?"

Arohi taken aback by his question simply answered,"No Sir, no problem at all."

Getting up from his desk, he walked over to where she was standing. Placing his hands on the table and chair, he leaned towards her. "Good. Dictation ke liye bulaya tha. Aur aaj, main likhunga."

Arohi had gotten all prepared with a pen and pad when she heard him say that he would write it. "To mujhe kyun bulaya??", she thought to herself.

Arohi: To phir sir, main kya karungi?

Arjun: Abhi pata lagega. Pen and pad.

Arohi passed him the pen and pad and felt his hand brush hers as he took the pen from her hand. At that moment, she felt something funny deep inside. But couldn't place what it was.

Taking the writing materials from her, he paced the room talking about some random stuff which made sense to her. But in fact, he was just scribbling some rubbish on the paper, drawing funny faces and houses. When the whole paper got filled up, he tore it out and crushed it and threw it on the floor.

In the meantime, Arohi was wondering what on earth was wrong with her boss today. Shrugging, she just stood by the side waiting for instructions when she saw Arjun throwing the paper on the floor and heard him call for her. "Ms Arohi, mujhe apne cabin mein kachra pasand nahin hain. Isse uthake dustbin main fekdo"

Arohi couldn't believe her ears. Not wanting to get into trouble, she just abided by what he had asked her to do. Picking up the crushed piece of paper, she threw it in the dustbin in the room. For about 20 minutes, he scribbled on the paper, crushed it up and threw it on the floor, pointing them to her to pick up and throw it away in the dustbin.

All the bending down was giving Arohi a backache. But she couldn't complain, it was her boss. Her sadoo boss on top of that. Noticing the time, she realized it was 1.50pm already. She had to meet Salil in 10 minutes time. But how could she go, her boss was making her throw rubbish. "Pata nahin kya likh raha hain", she wondered.

Arjun walked over to his desk and settled into his chair. He noticed that Arohi had her hand on her back and her face slightly scrunched up. He didn't realize that it must be hurting to bend down and pick up all the papers that he had thrown on the floor. "So what? she's my personal associate? Mera hi to kaam karti hain aur yeh kaam hi to hain..", he reasoned with himself.

He realized that it was 2 already. The time that she was supposed to meet Salil. "Ms Arohi, mera dictation khatam ho gaya. Mere liye ek cup coffee le anaa."

Arohi thinking to herself that finally she was released only to hear that she was to bring him his coffee. "Main kya uski naukar hoon, giving orders like tt".

Arohi: Ji? Coffee? Main abhi peon ko bolke aati hoon..

Arjun angered that she wouldn't bring him his coffee abrubtly stood up and leaned close to her so that he was just inches away from her. "Nahin! Tum meri coffee lekar ao. Aur sunno, jaldi ana".

Arohi was taken aback when she saw him lean over and didn't realize that she was leaning back slightly. When she made an attempt to move after her boss told her specifically to get his coffee, she tripped and and let out a yelp as she felt herself falling. But something stopped her from meeting the floor and she saw Arjun catch hold of her, his arm around her waist holding her firm. For a long moment, they stayed in that position, their gaze fixed on the other.
