After Heer tells Prem about how she wants to live in her present and how bad her life was after he was gone he should have hugged her. That was either very bad screenplay or very bad editing.
being hopelessly hopeful, and going with the past evidence on the editing front, i'm going with the latter... 😆
Also I felt that the Prem-Heer in front of the mirror thing should have been the first thing they show before the family at the breakfast table.
totally agreed!!! now that was a supreme case of bad editing!! or they're trying to give us a cute prem-heer moment in every segment of the show like they did on 17? 😆
Prem thing: so how much does prem actually remember? He tells heer that he remembers everything then why was he surprised to know that Heer was willing to risk her life for his family.
well, 'cause he wasn't there, no? i thought he was refering to remembering every moment they've had till the time that he disappeared? no?
The heer he knew always did that even before Prem-Heer were one.
well, she never risked her life like this for the family (pre-10/02)?
Also why is this Prem so different? He is all intense and romantic one moment and the very next he blows Heer away.
😆 intense 'cause he's prem and he hasn't had heer for a really long time now. and the .. um .. blowing her away, 'cause (i believe) heer has made him promise (or he's promised heer) that he'll undo all the hurt that he's done to her family by staying away!
btw, i think that the ownership of the junejas has been taken over by heer. noticed the way that she took gayatri-mom's hand away from prem at the bed? noticed how she is the first person to scold prem for treating harman (her brother) like that? or how she is the one to scold preet for having done the whole trip-to-ambala stunt? and (i believe that) heer has said that she can't be his wife - or the juneja's bahu - until prem takes back the role of juneja protector from her by making the family whole again. hmm...
Heer thing: she seems to be the more pushy one among the two.
well... 😆 ... i think she figures she doesn't have anything to ''prove'' in their current chess game, their ongoing battle of wits. he is the one who has to prove himself. and she loves him. she wants him..and i think she does'nt want to waste one moment with him not knowing it...
y'know? i always thought this whole returning from the dead would be a brilliant opportunity to show how people react to near-death situations. once you've been that close to being ... shut down forever. and you get a second chance? i always figured you'd want to do everything you hadn't done before. take chances. live more of life than you had in the past.
i like what i see in heer 'cause she looks like she's doing that with prem. earlier on, she was shy, controlled, allowing him to lead. now she is doing the leading, the teasing, the touching, the wanting. within the bounds of their gentleman's agreement, of course. she wouldn' t weasel on that... but she lost prem once. i can so imagine her wanting to live all of the time that they have lost. and - if such a thing happened again, a random senseless act of stooopidity that no-one can ever control - she'd have no regrets about having been shy and timid with prem, who she loves madly, insanely, to death!
no? i love it. and i think that's what we are seeing in prem too. he's seen death - knows how much he would've lost without the second chance. i kept thinking there was an edge to this prem -- even after his ''apparent return to prem from hiphop''. and maybe this sense is it?
Preet thing: Why can't Preet be the one who is always smiling and happy go lucky? Why does he also have sorrows and start crying? He looked like a lost boy as he waited for the courier.
i do not think they can ever hurt lakshman, or make him cry a tear while ram is there in front of him. they can't - can not! - make preet cry. not when ram's there. he will not cry. he will have his whole family with him. he will have his pb and his hb with him. he will be meet. he will not cry. he will not have the need. really... *preetstess making plans for a full-blown pooja giving thanks to (god) preet's pbhb this weekend...firmly. with conviction. i will do this.*
Juneja family thing: I loved the way the whole family were ragging Prem. Did you notice the cousin actually got a line to speak. But really liked Kiran's teasing but lalit took the cake. He was so subtle but put his point across very well.
😆 what? so this makes the number of his lines to... 4? 5? *does laughter during the prem-before-wedding-night teasing count as a line? 😆*
Lalit-Prem thing: so lalit had some investments why weren't they used when they needed it earlier? Also how is Prem going to revive the one which isn't doing so well?
😆 these guys at balaji telefilms soooo need a financial consultant. hey! *light going off in my head!* they should hire nihaal! 🤣
Prem-Ram thing: if Prem is Ram in true sense then will this story show him doubt heer's fidielty?
the one thing that i've been dreading see from the start of the whole ram-lakshman-sita realisation. i'm hoping prem's gonna deviate from ram track on that... after all, he doesn't have a kingdom of people to answer to, no? 😆
Prem-Heer thing: But didn't notice the eyelock between them while the family read out Preet's list.
wasn't an eyelock eggsactly. it was prem's eyes meeting heer's - a message passing between them, which heer acknowledges with a small smile.
As usual waiting and watching.
highfives hope... 😆 me too.
