this writer materially changed the story plus nature of the main characters. It is a new story then. I never had any curiosity for such books. I just pray that those who r reading it for the first time shud not treat this as Ramayan. Only a pure soul can write or rewrite Ramayan or make adaptations of it

I have seen making people make short skits based on the theme of Ramayan or modern Ramayan or a another stroy with names of characters of Ramayan. They r equally hurtful. If one change the nature of the main charaters he/she changes the story materailly.

By confidence I meant here the confidence of the writer on his creativity. Such faaltu adaptations of epics needs not creativity or labour or brain from the part of the author. to me they brainless work of idle persons having dirty heart. Why they taking the support of name of Ramayana n its popularity to sell their book?

it is such a shame tht some indian writers only to earn big bucks not feel ashamed in using GODS for all their filthy & greedy intensions !!! 🤢
shame on all such authors who always mould the mythological stories in their own spicy ways & try to earn big bucks by it !!!!😡
i personally feel like slapping such authors big time !!!! & throwing shoes at them !!!!🤢

ur right di they r shameless. Waht to say abt painters like MF hussain. but they do it to create contoversy. it is said no conroversy is bad controversy. they do it for pubicitly. When any voice is raised aginst them they say that they have right to freedom of speech n expression. Its better to avoid them n their writings. They know that even if someone or any group gets hurt by their writings they will loose nothing instead they will get more media coverage n publicity

IGNORE IT FRIENDS!

The more we talk about such things, the more we get involoved in the details. As said by all the members on this forum, the best thing we could do is shut our eyes and ears to such things. It is best to be Gandhiji's bandar sometimes. Some jobless, shameless and worthless fellow spent his time writing such a book, but then we are not so jobless or shameless or worthless to read it. (sorry not to demean people who have read it) But those of us who have already read it, can make sure the others dont read it.

Probably the author thought people would be marvelled at his writing skills.👎🏼 But he is wrong, there might be just 1% of the population that may be attracted by such writings. But the rest of us, definitely know what we are talking about.

Well said Sita.👏 In fact, I feel that even Ravan is better than these people. At least he had some morals. Ravan's biggest faults were his arrogance and lust for women, but other than that, he was a great Shiv Bhakt.
These kinds of people are the worst, because they have no respect for the sentiments and feelings of others. If they were truly devotees of God, they would not publish these kinds of garbage.
