i like the new music, i like a few old songs too

i prefer both to be honest but original sounds the best as always :)

i dont have one :(

Alka and Udit, Sonu and Shreya

Songs which have great lyrics n meanings that go with the lyrics :)

Good topic, A life withou specially bollywood songs is really impossible ....I really cant live without it.They have amazing and the compositions and the lyrics are also mindblowing....and specially lyrics of Samir are too good[B][/B]

I like old music, not too much western influence. Some of the stuff sounds really ridiculous but I love the songs nonetheless!

2. what kind of songs do you prefer orginal or remixes?

Mostly original. Depends on my mood.

3. which one is your favorite song?

Umm... O hamsafar... I forgot what movie it's from but there's 2 versions, one sung by Udit Narayan and another sung by Alka Yagnik. It goes like "o hamsafar... dil ke nagar... sapne chalo ham sajaayein..." I think it is from the film Fareb

4. who is your favorite bollywood music director?

Nadeem-Sharavan

5. who is your favorite singer?

That's tough but I like all singers in general so it's ok :)

6. what kind of music do you prefer?

Bollywood songs... in fact, any music from India... sometimes I prefer old kannada songs, sometimes i prefer bhangra/punjabi folk, remixes, marathi, tamil, telugu, songs from pakistan (old songs from there though) umm... sometimes it's even nepali songs... I'm an all around type of person

to be honest i love all kinds of music i luv sum old hindi songs 4rm 70's-90's, i luv r&b i luv bhangra with a nyc rythm & bass, i luv listening to nasheeds, luv music with meaning as well as meaningless music/songs lols lyk a bit of everyfing

der r sum really tacky remixes out der dat just honestly ruin da songs i h8 dem remixes but sum r really nyc with a gud beat n compliment da song lyk a lot of rishi rich's stuff, instant karma, bally sagoo's etc but i always seem to have both original & remix 😉

i have to many favourite songs, da list is endless heres to name but a few; i luv kom igen by Outlandish, luv sami yusuf n zain bhikha nasheeds, luv kash tum mujhse 4rm aatish original n rishi rich remix, tumhe apna banane ki kasam 4rm sadak, luv da songs 4rm rang, bekhudi, luv lag jha gale, yeh duniya yeh mehfil 4rm heer ranjha, o mere dil ke chen, vaada raaha, holding on by jay sean, meri jaan by jay sean ft juggy d, aapki nazron bally sagoo/gunjan, ik pal by sheera jaswal but dj 5Y3D remix and so so many more 😆

4. who is your favorite bollywood music director?

hmmmmmmm i dunt have a favourite music director as long as da song n beat is gud doesnt matter who da music director is 😛

5. who is your favorite singer?

no1 in particular i lyk a lot of people for different reasons as i said i have many fav songs n da singers vary 4rm song 2 song but my fav band is outlandish 😳

6. what kind of music do you prefer?

any as long as da beat n song is gud doesnt matter what type of music it is it cud be in turkish, arabic, spanish, italian any language even bengali which usually i dun lyk but i'm really lykn a few bengali songs 😆 😉 😉

also da kind of music i'l listen to depends on my mood if im feeling nostalgic i'll listen to a few of da older bollywood songs or older bhangra songs

if im in a really hyper mood i'll listen to faster songs 😉

if im in da mood to listen to music with meaning i'll listen to nasheeds and sun of da songs by outlandish, zain bhikha, noor and so fourth, really soothing n gets u thinking

Answers:

~~OLD MUSIC is GOLD! i love old music. Im so use to it. I have the influence of my parents on it..I know of so many composers, directors, singers....I hate remixed old stuff. Especially most of the Kishore Kumar songs...I hate that they are remixed. Leave the good stuff alone. I love western music too!!! LOTS AND LOTS!! but Old is its own thing and western is its own thing. The two shouldnt be mixed in my view.

~~I have soo many favs..but I have to say the Mughal-e-azam song has Pyar Kiya tho Darna Kya...fav!

~~Currently my fav is Shankar Mahadevan and Pritam is definitly next
