Fardeen and Natasha Khan left for their honeymoon on Sunday night — but not before inspecting the presents from close family and friends, who'd put in a lot of thought and love behind their specially chosen gifts.

One gift in particular is very special (it hasn't been delivered yet, though); Zayed Khan and wife Maleika are giving Fardeen a sleek, stylish jet ski (estimated to cost a whopping Rs 2,00,000).

Order placed

Zayed, who is busy rehearsing for the Delhi Temptation 2005 and Dubai Garam Masala show, confirms the gift. "I thought it was the perfect gift. A jet ski is like a water scooter, with a jet engine," he says.

"You can't buy them in India; one has to order them. There are many brands - Seadoo, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Polaris — I checked them all out and ordered one of these. It should be coming any time now."

Water babies

It's certainly an unusual gift. Why a jet ski? "They come in very handy, and this way, it stays within the family, which means I can use it too," Zayed jokes. "Fardeen and I love water sports; water-skiing, surfing and yachting. We want to start the on-the-sea culture on the beaches here that you find in the west."

Honeymoon special

Fardeen's dad Feroz Khan was initially reluctant to divulge details of the couple's 15-day honeymoon.

"Fardeen and Natasha don't want to be disturbed; they want total seclusion. They've gone to one of the islands in the Far East."
