I did read this article and I think that Ekta really needs to rethink her stratergy! Why not do lesser shows and concentrate on the quality. Again, with so many shows, she has given employment to so many people over the years. But with more channels and programmes coming up, Ekta really needs to concentrate on story and screenplay and most important, positivity in her shows, to survive.

I agree 100% with Suganthi....

She has a lot of potential still.....she needs good creatives, good screen plays and lot less negativity than what is being shown.

It's not too late for her to get back on that horse...

Agree with you.

I in no way or in any terms have any hard feelings or hatred for ekta..

However her shows quality is really poor and any show whoever it is made by gets fustrating if it goes in circles or just have negative stuff all the time, nothing gripping.

For me KS has to be one of the worst quality because to be honest the rest of the cast has no real parts , yes it does pick up at times but now frankly i cannot be bothered...plus for me theres nothing in that show G-R apart from to grip me or new.

I mean theres other shows anyways with better love story..in all fairness kayamath i was abit suprised in UK the michi scenes have been great and no more prachi hiding stuff..and ayesha track was different but maybe it was too late or something. Kis desh for me is the best show because of the feel and the cast is all soo good and have good storys, screenplays good and the dialogues..it has the best team i feel.

Ekta needs to make a show thats simple , keeps to what it started off has..yes they need to bring in tracks maybe not corrupted ones but think of something new..develop the characters more , their backgrounds etc with a good background thought through like their past they can think of future tracks.

The above link I found in Bandini forum. It has nothing to do with KS but I want you to read the article. Star is scrapping 3 BT shows and also follow suit for two running in prime time. The reason for scrapping is 'bad content' and the production house is not paying heed.

In this forum many of us have been shouting through our lungs not to show so much of negetivity, jealousy without logic. I have seen people change once they get hurt from their own children / siblings.....and top of that the very content of General Entertainment is changing, instead of changing KS is bringing in another negetive character in the name of Shurya with a big twist. If the twist is not positive, I am sorry to say then it is not a twist, because for last two years we have been served with nothing but negetivity....Your thought, friends, love Tin

There is no doubt that EKta is a smart talented woman. Otherwise she wouldn't have achieved what she did at a young age. But I think she is in current postion because of arrogance & having too many shows with her trying to run the whole thing on her own witha pathetic creative team. All her shows started to sound like same with same tracks. There is too much negativity & total buturing of relations. People stoped watching when it was over done & now they have more better choices Why watchi the same thing shown in some other BT show over & over again when the can watch something fresh?

I finally read the link that was attached.

So BT wants to buy holding in Star and then what? She would deliver her sub-quality shows on that channel solely? If she wants to buy the channel for business sake, I think it's not a bad idea, but if it for running her low-quality, high-irritant soaps even if the TRPs are low, then she needs to examine her motives again.

I saw that even Bandini is not faring well...

Here is the thing with Bandini...she saw how well Bidai and Balika Vadhu were doing and decided to get on the band wagon...even named it starting with a 'B'...The claim is that this soap is like a Gujju novel, but of course, by the end of the show, I doubt i it will remotely be close to the book. She will infuse the soap with extreme negativity...also, during the dot com boom, whoever was the trail blazer and first on the scene was the one who got rewarded. She got first on to soap scene and she got rewarded mightily, now she is trying to follow Bidaii and Balika Vadhu...a leader should not follow some one else.

some one sent me this photograph...I thought it was pretty amusing. People think that it's OK to steal ideas and scenes from other movies and her own soaps, it's cheating the audience...

Well Sheena, I have not seen Balika Vadu or Bidaai hence will not comment on it but yes Bandini is different from BT show, infact she is even settling scores immediately, no dragging endlessly showing the negetive is winning till you can no longer take it....I started watching Bandini out of curiosity and am liking it till now but knowing Ekta as we know her, you may be right....KS was fantastic when it started and now see what it has become and regarding TRPs well I will give Bandini some more time to pickup and mind you it is not on a very popular channel....
