There should be 2 music directors and 2 singers judging the Indian idol. These four judges should be able to say more than "I liked your performance, God bless you".
None of the current 4 judges should be allowed back for Indian Idol 5. We need judges who are neutral, provide good constructive feedback that will encourage the contestants to improve. They should not have favorites, they should not be allowed to say that only a male or female can win, but rather the most deserving regardless of their sex.
Javed is too old fashioned and is not a good choice to judge a youth-oriented contest. Sonali is clueless and has no experience with music. Kalish can't say more than 1 sentence, either, "I liked your perforrmance" or "I did not like your performance. Anu only cares about hearing his own voice regardless of what he is saying. Having a music director who rips off most of his music is not a good choice to be a judge.
My choice for the singer-judges would be Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan. People who the youth of the nation can connect with.

very well said.. 👏👏 completely agree..i don't know why in the blazing hell we have Sonali as a judge..?? and her comments first to Remo and now to Kapil are really making me really want to choke her or something.. 😡 since Remo is no longer there, so Kapil has become her punching bag now (not literally) apparently.. 😡😡
