Pahechan Kaun Music Directors contest 1

All you have to do is recognize these ten famous Music directors from yesteryear who gave yes notable evergreen songs.

1. He was born in Bagdad Iraq . his tunes were used in Veer Zara in 2004. He gave a music to songs like Kaun aya mere manke dware. Meri bina tum bin roye, Phir wohi shaam, Maine rang li aaj chunariya sajna tere rang me, Aap ki najaron samaja pyar ke kabil mujhe,. The movies he gave music to re Jahan ara, Mera saya, Dastak, Dulhan ek raat ki, Dekh kabira roya, Adalat, Anpadh etc.

2.This Bangali poet and musician was able to play any instrument from tabla to sarod. He gave a music to Aaja re pardesi, Kahin door jab din dhla jaye, Rajnigadha phool tumhara, Jago mohan pyare and O sajna barkha bahar ayi. The movies with his music are Do bigha jameen, Jagte raho, Gehra raaz, Anand, Ittefaq and Madhumati. Parakh along with so many other movies

3. Raised in Lucknow he gave a music to Mughla-e azam, Kohinoor, Aan. Baiju bawra, Udan khatola, Mother India, Ganga jamuna and so many other movies. His famous songs are Madhuban me radhika nache re, Pyar kiya to darna kya, Dhundho dhundho re sajna,, Mere mehboob tujhe meri muhobbat ki kasam, Mera pyar bhi tu hai ye bahr bhi tu hai.,Tu ganga ki mauj me jamun aka dhara and so many others.

4. This duo was highest paid music directors of their times and gave music to over 150 movies. They got filmfare awards for Chori chori, Anari, Professor, Dil apna prit parayi . Mera naam joker etc. some most famous songs are Ghar aya mera pardesi, Tumhe yaad karte karte jayegi rain sari, Mera juta hai japani, Ruk ja raat theher jare chanda, Bol radha bol sangam hoga ke nahi., Badan pe sitare lapete huye and so many famous songs.

5, He joined all India radio delhi as a musician in 1940's. His first hit music was in movie Bawre nain with a song Khayalo me kisi ke is tarah aya nahi karte. Laterrgave music to movies like Bhigi raat, Barsat ki raat, Tajmahal, Dever, Anokhi raat, Dil hi to hai etc. Who can forger his notable songs, Laga chunri me daag chupoun kaise, Zindagi bhar nahi bhulegi ye barsat ki raat, Jo wad kiya who nibhana padega, Oh re taal mile nadi ke jal me nadi mile sagarse.

6. He won the filmfare awards for his music in Gharana and Khandan. He gave music to Chaudvi ka chand,, Do badan, Aankhe, Nikah, Waqt , Neel kamal, Gumrah and may other films. He also shaped the career of Asha Bhosle with songs like Tora man darpan. He was also instrumental in making Mahendra Kapoor a popular singer in Bollywood. His famous songs are O meri zohra jabeen, Chaudvi ka chand ho, Di ki ye arzoo thi koi dilruba mile, dil ke ararmaan ansoo o me kho gaye, Chalo ek bar phir se ajnabi ban jaye hum dono, Lo aa gayi unki yaad who nahi aye.

7. He gave music to hits like Umrao jaan, Shola aur shabnam, Akhari khat, Footpath, Kabhi Kabhi, Trishul, Noorie etc. who can forget the the songs of rekha' in Umraao jaan like Dil Cheez Kya aii aap meri jaan lijiye, In ankho ki masti ke, Jeet he lenge baazi tum hum, Baharo mera jeevan bhi sawaron. Kabhi kabhi mere dil me khayal aata hai

8. He mostly worked with geeta dutt, asha bhonsle and Mohmd rafi. He realized kishore kumar's potential and work with him in songs of baap re baap and ragini, His music includes movies like Aar par, Naya daur, Kashmir ki kali, Tumsa nahi dekha, Ek musaphir ek hassena, Phagun, Kismat etc. His famous songs are Ek pardesi mera dil le gaya, Reshmi salwar kurta jali ka, Aao huzur tumko sitaro me le chalu, Ye hai reshmi zulfo ka andhera, Bahut shukriya badi meherbani etc.

9 . He started as an actor but soon his talent is recognized in music indistry. He gave music to notable, Azad, Albela, Asha, Jhanjhar, Navrang, Parchhain, Patanga, Sagai, Stree, Nastik. Who can forget the evergreen Navrang songs Tu chhupi kahan. Adha hai chndrma raat adhi. Shola jo Bhadke from albela, Ye zingi uiski hai jo kisi ka ho gaya, Eena meena deeka , O o nirdayi pritam, kaun ho tum kaun ho and Dekh tere sansaar ki halat kya ho gayi bhagwanetc.

10. He gave music to few of V sahantram's movies like Janak janak payal baje and Do ankhe barah hath. Guddi, Dr kotnis ki amar kahani, Toofan aur diya, Ashirvad. His famous songs are Ai malik tere bande hum, Saiyaan jhutho ka bada sartaj nikla, Mere aiy dil bata pyar tune kiya, Bol re papihara papihara, Nirbal se ladayi balwan ki ye kahani aur diye ki aur toofan ki. ooh old songs and musicians..is it? Then I have no problem! My parents are big oldie fans and because of that I know a lot of oldie musicians, composer, singers...etc..loool..so I think i will ease through this..lets hope! LOOOL....will do soon!
