Well Shalmali during Digvijay of PRC there was a war with Mahoba City....PRC was injured badly by Aalah as Aalah wanted to revenge his brother Udal's death but he was stopped to do so by his guruji....Due to PRC fight with Aalah PRC was injured badly & had blood coming out from his body from all sides ...so all eagles had gathered around him & the other dead bodies in the war ground ....Sanjam saw some of the eagles had started appraching PRC to eat him ...so inorder to protect PRC & his life Sanjam cut his hand with a knife & made the eagles attract towards him by his fresh blood falling on the ground & thus he was killed by the eagles saving PRC's life!
