With My Name is Khan, Kajol crosses her Rs 1.5 crore (her fees for Fanaa) milestone

Recession has hit most actors and filmmakers but Kajol seems to be untouched by it. It is believed that the actress has received a payment of Rs 2.5 crore for Karan Johar's My Name is Khan.

That's the highest any actress has been paid in recent times. A source reveals, "Even though Kajol and Karan are friends, they have a very professional approach towards work. Karan was willing to pay Kajol her full market price."

Kajol does very few films and feels she is entitled to a certain price. And KJo understood that and agreed to pay her as she demanded.

Kajol had charged 1.5 crore for Fanaa, and has upped her price by a crore since. Even actresses like Katrina and Kareena charge anywhere between Rs 2-4 crore.

But given the current scenario, many actors have slashed their prices. Kajol's the only actress who has upped hers. With My Name is Khan, she now commands the highest fee paid to her for a film."

she knows in this film nothing for her just KJ want to use her for item girl.

She deserves what she is getting but how does anyone know a stars price.

Kajol deseres it

well, if Kareena charges anywhere that is quoted, then Kajol definitely deserves it.. she is a much better actress..

Maybe because she needs to shoot abroad and so she's charging more...and I know she doesn't like being away from her daughter!
