The DE-glam queens of Bollywood With or without makeup we've loved them all the same

As glam doll KATRINA KAIF is all set to go deglam in Prakash Jha's Rajniti we bring you the list of women who've dropped the mini skirt for a sari.

LARA DUTTA plays Irrfan Khan's wife in Billu Barber. We're not sure why she's looking so sad in this picture but we sure are looking forward to this new avatar of Lara.

She didn't mind ripping her jeans in Tashan or even stepping out of the water in a sexy green bikini. But KAREENA KAPOOR surely startled all of us years ago in Dev, not so much for dropping anything but rather for covering up entirely! But then again, she made it up by kissing Fardeen Khan on screen.

KARISMA KAPOOR showed us just what sexy should be. Why, she even had that song Sexy Sexy picturised on her! In Fiza though journalist-turned-film critic managed to do the unthinkable. He got rid of her glamorous image, put her in a salwar kurta and a dupatta and made her play Hrithik Roshan's sister. We're not sure if that pi**ed off the audiences or the fact that some dude called Bikram Saluja was paired opposite her. Nonetheless, the film flopped and we probably will regret watching it...

Must confess, we were intrigued by the idea of seeing AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN in a sari in Provoked. But exactly seven minutes into the film, we were cursing ourselves. Not a bad performance from Ash but please Mr Mundhra give us a break!

6 of 10

PREITY ZINTA in Heroes - can't think of another woman who could have carried off this brown dupatta and floral print dress. Five on five for Preity!

7 of 10

RANI MUKERJI in the first half of Yash Raj's Lagaa Chunari Mein Daag - bad film, great performance. Beats us though why everyone in the film was crying so much all-the-time!?!

8 of 10

For all those who didn't already know what a powerhouse performer MADHURI DIXIT was, must watch her in Mrityudand where she fights traditions

9 of 10

URMILA MATONDKAR is probably one of those who can make cotton saris and mini skirts look equally sexy. Pinjar was probably the last of her de-glam performances. Wish we saw some more of that...

TABU in ALL HER HINDI FILMS! But makes us wonder just why she suddenly drops her clothes each time she goes down South! Any answers?

My favorite will always be Kareena in Dev and Omkara. Karishma in Fiza for DE-glam roles.

Ash looks so beautiful even when she's not wearing make-up. Provoked, Raincoat, Choker Bali, all very excellent films and good acting by Ash!
