Why waste ur money, time on stupid shows?

I am totally disappointed, with the standard of singing of II2 singers(barring a very very few of them).

Also the way the anchors ask for votes by saying that "it is our responsiblility towards nation to vote as many times as possible and give India its Indian Idol..blah.. blah.. blah.." turns me off totally from this show as they are just playing with the emotions of indians by making these foolish shows such a big issue.

So i have adopted the approach of only watching the show(if watchable), change channel during all ad-breaks and have decided to never ever to waste my money(thru SMS or call) on these stupid TV programs..
Ultimately, These shows are just a way of making money from Indian public. It is not just a money issue, it is also a waste of precious time, unnecessary mental and physical stress..

Believe me, there are much better ways of spending that money and time by talking to your dear ones, spending time with them, whom u talk with so rarely. Trust me, there are lots of things in this World beyond these stupid shows where u can find all the happiness and love from others...

Thats your opinion & I can respect you for that.

There are over 30 countries that have their own version of "Idol" & most of them are very successful & get over a million votes per season(American Idol 4 alone got 163 mil votes) so there are about millions of people who disagree with you.

well i wudnt giv no comments coz ppl have der own opinion coz der av a different kinda of nature n thinkin! as majority lyks ii2 but sum dnt.. so wudnt bover arguin n wastin my tym on dis...!

cool.aquarian, i see u are also from the US..as FrenchieRox said other countries have their versions of idol as well. What about American Idol??? The first few seasons were extremely popular and people were just as involved with the contestants and show.

I think II has brought about immense talent and is a nice show for families to watch! eveyone is entitled to his/her own opinion but i would have to disagree with u

I think you are in the wrong place to comment about this. Having no disrespect for your views, i have to disagree and it is always good to appreciate talent. And you say that contestants are not talented. Well if you would have seen the show today you would have taken your words back.

As far as wasting money is concerned, dont worry as you are in the US you cannot waste a single cent, even if u try hard!! 😃

If you think that these shows are a waste of your time then why are you
wasting your time and our time posting things like this in a place where
you know nobody is going to change there mind because of you. If you
don't like the show that's your opinion, but i just wanna know why you
are coming to this site if you think the show is a waste of time.
