Clash between Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan

It's a clash between Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan on 13 February 2009 with their releases Billo Barber and Dilli 6 respectively. Billo Barber stars Shahrukh Khan, Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta in lead roles, while Dilli 6 stars Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles.

Khan's film is directed by Priyadarshan and is based on Tamil film Kuselan, which is the story of a barber shop owner in a village and his best friend who he meets after 25 years and is now a super star.Dilli 6 is directed by Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra and is based on Mehra's years of growing up in Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi.

Where Billo Barber was earlier slated for release for Diwali on 29 October, it was postponed to November because the shooting of a song and the visual effects of the film were pending. The film was further delayed because releasin.

It in November, just weeks before Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi also starring Khan and directed by Aditya Chopra, was not a viable option.Hence, Billo Barber will now release on 13 February, which will result in a clash with Dilli 6 which is scheduled for the same date
