Alina and Sana Wadiwala replace Tapur and Tupur in J P Dutta flick
Bigg Boss inmates Alina and Sana Wadiwala are big screen-bound. After their Colors reality show outing, the twins have been spotted by filmmaker J P Dutta.
He has cast them in his next, a reincarnation flick. Buzz is that the duo has replaced the model twins Tapur and Tupur Chatterjee.
The untitled film also stars siblings Amaan Ali and Ayaan Ali Bangash (sons of musical maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan) besides Sagarika Ghatge of Chak De! India fame as reported ('Born again!'; Hitlist, December 23, 2008)Dutta is taking a break from his patriotic and war films what he is known for to carve a story about reincarnation. The reason why he has pencilled in on real-life twins.
Says a source, "Tapur and Tupur was approached by Dutta and they even shot a bit. Buzz is that the filmmaker dropped them due to alleged attitude problems. The filmmaker then decided to cash in on the popularity of the Wadiwala sisters in Bigg Boss. He wanted young, fresh faces for the film."
A unit source confirms that Alina and Sana have started preparing themselves for their roles. The sisters have been undergoing fitness training to shape up for the project. The twins have also been spotted in Andheri attending a well-known Bollywood dance class.
Prior to their Bigg Boss appearance, Alina and Sana had done an acting course in London.
The sisters however do not want to make any comment at the stage.
Adds the source, "It is a big project for them. They are happy to be a part of J P Dutta's film for their acting debut. But at this juncture, they want to be guarded till everything falls into place.
