Exactly. I think Danny Boyle did the right thing to send a trust fund for the kids because then it can be used by the children, who worked in the films. It is sad that the money was used, but I think it is very responsible to not hand over the money to the parents, who may use the money the children earned in a way that is not the best use. When they are of age, the kids can decide how their money can be used.

Parents are just trying to get the money. it seems that they might've been under the misconception that just because their kids were selected for a foreign movie, that they would now be paid enough cash to completely change their circumstances around, but I think the kids were paid a fair amount.

Besides, I dont think the kids did a year's worth of work, when the movie was shot in months.
