Anand Sagar remade the Ramayan, not Prem Sagar. (I think Prem Sagar is either Anand Sagar's son or brother).

i don't think there r too many deviations as per the story but i'm not happy with Sagars's portrayl of certain characters..

And the cast of Ramayan is incomparable to that of Ekta's MB.

Have to agree after watching the first 2 weeks of this show that the casting was a total disaster. The bar set by the previous cast was so high that this was a major dissapointment. I kept on expecting soapy theme song to start playing. I heard they were sent to acting school after the poor response to break their soap actor habits 😆 No wonder they have to wrap it up. Despite being handed one of the best stories, it has been an all around dissapointment. Goes to point out how important the right casting is.

Eagerly awaiting the bobby bedi version, i think everyone will do justice to this brilliant epic in that venture.

can't say about bobby bedi's version!! chamatkaar hote hi hain..but frankly, i have no hopes ..i don't like the way mythologies r made these days SFX r very unrealistic.
