Politics and South indian Actors

Politics seems to have lost its value completely in south india. Everyday , we have Actors from south especially Andhra Pradesh joining a political outfit. I am not saying that this is wrong but when you have actors for example like "Posani Krishna Murli " and actress "Roja" commenting on Governments and Politics it is scary. It is scary because these actors i am sure do not even know "How many States make up the Indian Union and even if they know this answer i am guranteeing that they would not know the names of these states".. This trend has to stop or else with people like these into Assemblies then i am sure they will ruin their regions as well as the country in all..

So guys do you think Actors should come into politics ? if yes, then should they atleast now the basics about the country and its politics..

Roja is not only a phenomenol actress, but a great social worker as well. She is married into a family that is involved in politics, and is just a pawn in that process.
Over the years she's acted in Tamil and Telugu films. A few weeks ago she appeared on Koffee with Anu and was the same lovable and innocent person that began a career in cinema. Her answers were so simple and one hardly got the impression that she is calculating. The interview was hilarious, and she maintains her lovely smile.
Even politicians can't answer some of those questions. Example Sarah Palin in the U.S, a vice-presidential candidate no less. She thought Africa was a country, and that "she could see Russia from an island off Alaska." 20% of educated American citizens do not have the names of the 50 states or even have an idea of where they are. One can testify 100% do not know their mayors, assemblymen, senators and all their representatives.
Let's appreciate the good work such artistes do by lending their names to various causes. When there is a water problem, or the likes of what is going on in Sri Lanka, it is the film stars associations that tour the states and get little appreciation.
Ronald Reagan, MGR and N.T.Rama Rao were all good politicians. Let's appreciate their contributions, and not their failures.

Are the actors getting into politics capable of becoming one? OR are merely cashing out on the so called celeb mania and popularity? If latter is true then shame on them.

uuuh i dun even noe who roja is to begin with😕 well Sarah Palin may not be an actress but she won ms alaska and she was the government...meaning she should've had a little bit knowlege on how the politics work...she knew NOTHING and kept on changing topics every time sum1 asked her a question...I think thts a little more sad than an actress or actor not knowing their politics....im pretty sure half of the actors dunno their politic correctly.....I remember watching this E News 3 yrs back when the anchor asked some models and stars about What happened on 9/11 none of them got the answers rite 😆 😆 😆

🤣 Shakti Kapoor was awesome there😆😆
Bang on target on all politicans being great actors!
Pollywood😆 🤣 what will happen to Punjab then? Shouldn't it be called Pollywood for punjabi movies that are made there😆
Well, if nothing else, some actors can at least add bit of glamor to the ugly face of Indian politics - with laloos et al😆

Well see i knew you will catch that one @Shakti Kapoor... 😆😆 in some other post, mera popat hogaya, i wrote that and response...what do you mean by Aoouuu😡 and who is this lalita 😉😆😆
Oh! i didn't knew polly is already taken... how about POOLEE - Wood (Khokli lakdi) 😆
That is actually true, @ some glamour to politics... I am put off seeing poping bellied, visually unfit politicians representing India. How about John Abrahamin as Minister of defense presenting a bill of "evade Terrorists by all means from any country" in UN summit, comprising of 80% women... BINGO!! 😉😆 Or reverse the senario with Katrina 😆
Anyways back to topic - after seeing how popularity played a important role in getting Mr. O , THE ROCK STAR a vital and one of the most imp position in world's political arena, makes me bring in capabilities. Kaashh hamara political outlaw in days to come badley. (STOP dreaming ANSHUMAN and get what you are best at😉 Katrina...auuoo lalita😆😆)
