Hi, everyone, the legendary war is almost to its last stage. from teh precap it seems, maharishi vashishtha will come and give lord ram some special aditya strotra, but before his final war with Ravan, Lotrd R had performed durgapuja. it was autumn, and so he woke devi durga up and did his puja and there are also a beautiful story about him going to sacrifice his eye to the goddess. pleased at this, devi durga, who was also worshipped buy ravan, will leave his side and side with ram to help him win his war of truth
do you think the sagars will show this story? was it there in valmiki ramayan? if tehy show it, how will they show the story?

I think it was Sage Agastya who gave Shri Ram the knowledge of Aditya Hrydayam. This is a sloka that anybody can say. It is addressed to the Sun.

It is Sage Aghasthya who advises Lord Ram to worship and praise the Sun God before the war. This incident does come in the Valmiki Ramayana. I do not know about the Durga Puja and Lord Ram sacrificing his eye. But Lord Ram praises and worships the Sun as instructed by Maharishi Aghasthya before confronting Ravan.

This version was there in Krittivas Ramayan - the Bong version. I don't know whether it appeared anywhere else - certainly doesn't seem to appear in either Valmiki or Tulsidas.

Aditya Hrdhaya - a prayer (or hymn or stotra) dedicated to the Sun God can be found in the Valmiki Ramayan - Yudha Kanda - Canto (or chapter) 106 or 107 (I'm not sure which).
In the previous chapters - There is a battle between Ram and Ravan and Ravan is stunned (or becomes unconscious) and Ravan's charioteer turns the chariot and speeds back to Lanka. After a while when Ravan comes to himself and realises that he is on the way back to Lanka having lost consciousness on the battle field. He rages at his charioteer to have brought him back to Lanka in the middle of the battle. The charioteer explains that it was his duty to get him to safety. (It was the duty of the charioteer to take his master to safety in case his master is hurt or unconscious.) Ravan then orders his charioteer to charge straigth at Ram.
This chapter (The Glory to the Sun - I think this is the name) starts with a sense of pending battle between Ram and Ravan. It his here that Mahirishi Aghasthya comes to Ram and recites the Aditya Hrdaya. And Ram prays to the Sun God as prescribed by Sage Aghasthya.
I have posted what I have read from various translations of the Valmiki Ramayan. Please let me know if I had gone wrong somewhere.

Both Tulsidas Ramayan and Valmiki's Ramayan are really enjoyable to read.

I hope that someday I too can read the original text. 😍😍😍
By the way, did the blue lotuses ever exist ?
The Gandhamana mountains are mentioned in Mahabharatha too. It is here that Bheem meets his brother Hanuman and gets the lotuses with thousand petals (which Draupadi asked for). These flowers were found in Kuber's lake. (This is what I read and this incident happens when they were in exile). And it was also mentioned that there were varieties of strange plants and animals in the Gandhamana mountains when Bheem went in search of the lotuses.
If they had existed before, do they still exist now? As far as I have inferred from what I read, the Gandhaman mountain must be near Kailash or Meru and I think it is here (or in the neighbourhood) of these mountains that Kuber established Alakapuri.
