Why doesn't bani call Mr.Walia JAI?!

I've been watching this show forever! Why doesn't she EVER call him JAI?! im dying to hear her call him Jai for once. like a wife.

Is there some secret or whatever in that too?!

Is anyone out there who feels the same way?

its habit.. she call Jai, Jai.. he may end up havng a heart attack lol

i think its cute... cuz i mean she never called him that and its also kind of respect, it shows that even after all theyve bin through she still sees him as the old MR JAI WALIA

Jai just sounds wrong. Like Mira used to say Jai, and that sounded okay.

From Bani Mr. Walia is much better. It shows respect, specially since older.

I saw my nani calling my nana "aapne" instead of "tumi" and that was so cool & respectful and elite. I call my bf "aap" too. It's more fun then "tumi."

I think it's because when prachi was around she used to work for him(long time ago) and as an employ she couldn't call him Jai so she called him Mr. Walia. I guess she got used to it. It's not like she worked for him and called him Mr. Walia and when they got married she calls him Jai. I mean she could do that but as I said before she got used to it.

... or it could simply be because the creatives were copying the convention used in Kasautii Zindagii Kay (however it was spelt 😕 )

I agree to that! Maybe also because he's elder than Bani by 20 years (...if I'm not wrong!!!). I guess it's because of that.

Think its because of repsect..since she first came from mount abu..she called him with respect and said Mr. Walia..and not just that but Piya and Rano also call him Mr. Walia. and i thinks its just cause of that and cause like Henna said..haha..shes used to it.. plus..we cant forget that Bani is suppose to be like 10-15 years younger than Jai..right?
