Censor Board snips off Kangana's nude scene from upcoming flick

Spicezee Bureau

Mumbai, Jan 11: Mukhesh Bhatt's much-awaited thriller, 'Raaz: The Mystery Continues' has been ripped off the chances of showing the hottest part of the movie. Kangana Ranaut's 'nude' scene in the movie has made the Censor Board click it's scissors disapprovingly. It has sternly recommended the director to do away with it if he wants the movie to see day-light.

That was perhaps Mukesh's only USP, as now he is royally upset over the decision of the Censor Board.

Also, Raaz has been given an A certificate. However, Mukesh has the option of approaching the Revising Committee of the Censor Board.

Grapevine has it that Mukesh indulged in war of words with Board authorities but the Board refused to cow down.

According to a tabloid report, Mukesh was unwilling to even release the picture and was said to have mocked the Board by stating that he wouldn't release the flick for the fear of getting a U certificate the next time.

Vinayak Azad (Regional Officer, Censor Board) confirmed the newson Friday, stating, "My officers have told me that they had told Vishesh films to delete the nude scene. Despite the deletion of the scene, the film will have an A certificate since there is a lot of horror content in it."

However, Mukesh denied the reports, stressing, "'Raaz - The Mystery Continues' has got a UA certificate. We have not been asked to delete Kangana's nude scene."

Well, all this confusion for a nude scene in a horror-flick. How horrifying is that?

alrite so this means that she would be showing off her assets in the movie..well this has hardly eva happened in bollywood before..i remember there was nude scene in srk's maya memsaab but that got censored..then there was one wid nandita sen which was also censored..n personally i dont think its a very good idea...atleast im not looking for any such scene in the movie ..this will completely keep the families away unlike raaz 1 which was an absolute decent thriller specifically enjoyed by families..

I think directors can include them, but the censor board to rate it as a strictly adult film. Like when hollywood films have violence, foul language, or sexual content the film is given an R or M rating meaning it's for mature audiences and people only 18 and above are allowed to watch it. I mean it shouldn't be such a big deal! Also I really don't think this horror-suspense movie needs any nude scenes, but it up to the director for including and up to the audience for watching it!

I dont think such a scene should be deleted.
As long as it doesnt look vulgar, its perfectly fine.

totally agree man they should start putting the rating on movies.whenever i asked my movie store guy that what is the rating or is it suitable for younger audience he is always"yeah yeah bahan ji very good movie take it".when i watched Ghajini recently my youngest son was kind of upsed and scared of voilence scenes.but when i asked the guy that y u didn't told me that it could be bad for younger audiences he said "yeh to yehaan canada/us mein hota hai back in india a five year old kid go to the theatre and watch every kind of movie.
