Classical Round revealed much about Yashita

So finally Yashita was forced to sing something this round that wasn't mainstream hip hop that she could just make random noise/sound effects to. This time she was forced to sing with SUR and failed. I mean she was terribly terribly off key this time. This happened once during another round too, and both times she was "sick." Obviously a lie, and she can't sing.

In other news, Soumen rocked my world. Vaishali was good too, but slightly less than Soumen.
That's my two cents. Don't like it? Keep the change. :)

True that. Yashita's booty-shakin', head bangin', poor excuse for hip-hop and rap, can only take her so far. After that its the singing that counts, and that's where she lacks.

I agree.. Yashita lacks the versatality that Vaishali has.. I hope her mentor, Himesh sir, doesnt bring her down. Best of luck to all three.. I think Soumen is also a good singer..

You guys got it exactly right. I knew she wouldn't do well when it came time for the classical round because she would need to sing this time, not some easy item number type song but really sing.. Soumen and Vaishali proved their credentials though. The most pathetic thing is the way the judges are finding any excuse to promote her like one judge said she was "versatile." Could he not think of any other compliment? Actually this compliment wasn't given on the classical round but on Saturday's show where Yashita returned to singing in her comfort zone.

Whatever, YASHITA would be crowned as winner of 2009.
