hello guys how r u all? jai shree ram well a fact abt indrajits death;
as we all know that in the war laxmanji wld cut the hand s oof indrajit and this cut hand wld go over to sulochna and she says tht she is nor ready to believe tht indrajit is dead and said tht wld believe only if the cut hand gives her the message and its true the hand writes a msg and asks sulochna to go to ramji and ask for indrajits dead body and she does tht and approaches ramji and generous and maryadapurshottm ramji gives indrajit s body to sulochna

I saw a variation on this in the 1976 film Bajrangbali on dailymotion.com. Slight variation on your account - Sulochana (played here by Jayashri Gadkar, Kaushalya-mata in the Ramanand Sagar Ramayan) herself wanted Ravan to get her Meghnad's head, but Ravan insisted on getting Lakshman's head instead. Then she asked Mandodari, who gave her permission. For rest of the story, see this:

Since the pre-cap to Monday's episode shows Meghnad's arms being cut off, they may show it, although I think it's needlessly grizzly, particularly given that neiter Valmiki nor Tulsidas narrate that as happening. All that was cut off was Meghnad's head with the Indrastra.

that was my question too

is it written in any scriptures the way it wud be shown indrajeet arms and head cuts off

i find this totally gruesome and brutal

why cant indrastra be sent straight at his heart why head and why arms

its too horrid actually

if its not written in scriptures why its shown then liek this

i only remember kk was killed in prev ramayan similar way and now also same arms go the head goes

but in prev ramayan also indrajeet head goes not arms

i think his head falls in ravan court i m not sure

but my point here again if its not in scriptures why show such graphic murder 😭

Agree with Chatterbox. In fact, showing such graphic details could result in such videos being R rated when they are released in the West, where showing such grizzly details is generally considered poor taste.

I too thought it was Meghnath's head that was cut off, that is all. I don't think his hands had anything to do with his death. Sometimes, Sagars become Bollywoddy. I loved the Indrajeet and Lakshman episode overall. I think Anki Arora is shaping up to be a fine actor.
